Hipertiroidli hastaların eritrosit membranlarındaki kolesterol miktarının belirlenmesi

33 7. ÖZET Hipertiroidli kişilerin eritrosit membranı kolesterol seviyelerindeki değişikliğin araştırılması amaçlandı. Bu maksatla 20 hipertiroidili, 20 tedavi görmüş hipertiroidili kişide eritrosit membran kolesterolü ölçüldü. Sonuçlar 20 kişilik kontrol grubuyla mukayese edildi. Hipertiroidilerde kontrol grubuna göre önemli miktarda bir artış(p < 0,01), tedavi gören grupta ise hasta grubuna göre önemli bir azalma(p < 0,01) gözlendi. Ayrıca plazma kolesterol seviyesiyle, eritrosit membranı kolesterol miktarı arasında bir iHşkinin olup olmadığını belirlemek için yukarıdaki üç grupta da ve ayrıca çalışılan 20 kişilik hiperkolesterolemili grupta da bu iki parametre arasında anlamlı bir ilişkiye rastlanmadı(r < İ0,5İ).

34 8. SUMMARY In this research, it was aimed to establish the changes in tiie erythrocyte membrane cholesterol levels in the patients with hyperthyroid. For this purpose, cholesterol levels were measured in the erythrocyte membranes of 20 patients with hyperthroid and of 20 patients who were treated hyperthyroids. The result were compared with the findings of a control group(n: 20). A significant increase(p < 0,01) in the hyperthyroid group with respect to control and a significant decrease(p < 0,01) in the treated group with respect to hyperthyroid group were observed. Additionally, in order to show if there has been any correlation between the cholesterol levels of the plasma and erythrocyte membranes, plasma cholesterol concentrations were determined in these groups. No correlation between these parameters has been found in three above-mentioned groups and me additional hypercholesterolemia group of 20 people.
