Abstract
ÖZET Bu çalışmada, KTÜ Farabi Hastanesi Kliniklerine başvuran 150 hastanın idrar, pü, kan, yanık, yara vs. örnekleri stafilokok türlerinin identifikasyonu açısından incelemeye alındı. İncelenen 150 hasta örneğinden 80(%53.4)tane S.aureus, 31(%20.6) tane S.epidermidis, 12(%8.0) tane S.haemolyticus, 9(%6.0) tane S.saprophyticus, 7(%4.6) tane S.capitis, 5(%3.4) tane S.intermedius, 3(%2.0) tane S.schleiferi ve 3(%2.0) tane S.simulans izole edildi. SUMMARY In this study, blood, urine, pus, scald, wound etc. examples taken from 150 patients who applied KTU Farabi Hospital Clinics were studied for identification of staphylococcus species. 80 S.aureus (53.4%), 31 S.epidermidis (20.6%), 12 S.haemolyticus (8.0%), 9 S.saprophyticus (6.0%), 7 S.capitis (4.6%), 5 S.intermedius (3.4%), 3 S.schleiferi (2.0%) and 3 S.simulans (2.0%) were isolated from the samples taken from 150 patients. Same Staph species like S.epidermidis, S.capitis, S.haemolyticus, S.schleiferi and S.simulans were isolated especially from urine, S. saprophytics from urethral exutad and S.aureus and S.intermedius were isolated from pus and wound. 99 of 150 samples (66.0%) were found B-lactamase positives, and 51 of those examples (34.0%) were found B- lactamase negatives. 40.0% of coagulase positive staphylococcus and 62.4% coagulase negative staphylococcus were examined as methiciline resistance. Isolated staphylococcus strains were examined were resistance to 1 1 antibiotics and vancomycin was found as the most effective antibiotics (100.0%).
