Rize`de siyasi hayat (1946-1980)

Abstract

Rize, Türk siyasi tarihinde önemli bir konuma sahiptir. Türk siyasetinde önemli ve etkin rol oynamış şahsiyetlerin bir bölümü Rize'den yetişmiştir. Rize siyasi hayatımıza 2 başbakan ve hükümette görev yapmış pek çok vekil kazandırmıştır. Bu çalışmada Türkiye'nin çok partili hayata geçmiş olduğu zamandan, 12 Eylül darbesine kadar geçmiş olan sürede Rize'deki siyasi faaliyetler, Türkiye'de yaşanmış olan genel siyasi olay ve faaliyetlerle desteklenerek anlatılmıştır. 1946 yılından başlayarak Rize'de yaşanmışsiyasi faaliyetler detaylıca ele alınmıştır. Yaşanan seçimler, halk oylamaları, parti kongreleri, siyasilerin bölgeye yapmış oldukları ziyaretler ayrıntılarıyla sunulmaya çalışılmıştır. Rize tarihinden kesitler sunulurken aynı zamanda memlekette yaşanan gelişmelerde eş zamanlı olarak aktarılmıştır. Bu çalışma ne tam bir yerel tarih ne de tam bir Türk siyasi tarihidir. Bu iki olgunun harmanlanmasıyla ortaya çıkmış bir eserdir. Çalışma 3 bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk bölümde çok partili hayata geçiş sürecinden 27 Mayıs darbesine kadar Rize'de ve tüm Türkiye'de yaşanmış önemli siyasal olaylar ele alınmıştır. İkinci bölümde ise 27 Mayıs darbesinden 12 Mart muhtırasına kadar geçen sürede yaşanmış siyasi olaylar ve faaliyetler ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın üçüncü ve son bölümünde ise 1971 muhtırasından 12 Eylül darbesine giden süreç anlatılmıştır. Arşiv belgeleri ağırlıklı olmak üzere Rize'de yaşanmış olan siyasi oluşumlar, faaliyetler ortaya çıkarılmaya ve en doğru şekilde aktarılmaya çalışılmıştır.

Rize has an important position in Turkish political history. Some of the personalities who played an important and influential role in Turkish politics were raised from Rize. Rize gave our political life two prime ministers and many deputies who served in the government. In this study, the political activities in Rize were supported by the general political events and activities that took place in Turkey from the time of the multi-party life of Turkey until the September 12 revolution. All political activities in Rize since 1946 have been discussed in detail. The elections, popular voting, party congresses and the visits of politicians to the region were tried to be presented to the reader in detail.At the same time, the events in the country were recorded in parallel with these events. This study is neither a complete local history nor a complete Turkish political history. This is a work that has emerged from the blending of two phenomena. The study consists of 3 parts. In the first part, important political events took place in Rize and all over Turkey from the 1950 elections to the May 27 revolution. In the second part, political events and activities took place between May 27 and March 12. In the third and final part of the study, the process from 1971 to the September 12 revolution was tried to be transferred. Political formations in Rize, mainly archive documents, have been tried to reveal activities and convey them in the most correct way.
