SPSS istatistik paket programının öğretiminde, geleneksel yöntem ile bilgisayar destekli öğretim yönteminin karşılaştırılması

Abstract

Bu çalışmada istatistiksel grup başarıları araştırması deneysel olarakgerçekleştirilmiştir. Denek olarak Muğla Üniversitesi Enformatik Bölümü öğrencilerindenyararlanılmış; 2005-2006 bahar döneminde istatistik paketleri dersini seçmiş öğrencilere ikifarklı öğretim yöntemi uygulanmıştır. Araştırma, istatistik paketleri dersini seçen öğrencilerarasından 36'sı deney grubu ve 36'sı kontrol grubu olmak üzere toplam 72 öğrenci üzerindeyürütülmüştür.Yapılan araştırmada öncelikle bilgisayar destekli öğretim yönteminin uygulandığıdeney grubu ile geleneksel öğretim yönteminin uygulandığı kontrol grubunun öğrenmedüzeyleri arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olup olmadığı incelenmiştir. Bunun ardından bilgisayardestekli öğretim yönteminin uygulandığı deney grubu ile geleneksel öğretim yöntemininuygulandığı kontrol grubunun kalıcılık düzeyleri arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olup olmadığıhususları araştırılmıştır.Araştırmada elde edilen verileri analiz edilmiştir. Bu bağlamda iki grubun ön test, sontest ve kalıcılık testi sonuçları ortalamalarının karşılaştırılması için ?t? testi uygulanmıştır.Araştırmanın sonunda bilgisayar destekli öğretim yönteminin uygulandığı deney grubu ilegeleneksel öğretim yönteminin uygulandığı kontrol grubu öğrencilerinin öğrenme düzeylerive kalıcılık düzeyleri arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunduğu belirlenmiştir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Bilgisayar Destekli Öğretim, Bilgisayar Öğretimi, Eğitim YazılımıSayfa Adedi: 90Tez Yöneticisi: Prof. Dr. Mustafa DİLEK

In this thesis, statistical group successes have been realized empirically. As the testsubject, Students of the Informatics Department of Muğla University have been chosen. Twodifferent teaching methods have been carried out to the students who attended to the statisticalpackages software lecture on the spring term of 2006. The research has been done among theseventy two students which thirty six of them were chosen as the experiment group and theother thirty six were chosen as the control group.In this study, firstly a meaningful difference between the learning levels of theexperiment group on which the computer aided method was carried out and the control groupon which the conventional training method was carried out has been investigated. Later on, ameaningful difference between permanence levels of the experiment group on which thecomputer aided method was carried out and the control group on which the conventionaltraining method was carried out has been examined.The dates obtained at the end of research have been analyzed. In this case, t test hasbeen applied for comparison of the means of the results of the pre-test, final test and thepermanence test which were carried on both groups. As result, it has been discovered thatthere is a meaningful difference between the learning levels and the permanence levels of theexperiment group on which the computer aided method was carried out and the control groupon which the conventional training method have been obtained.Key Words: Computer Supported Training, Computer Assisted Learning, EducationalSoftwarePage Number: 90Adviser: Prof. Dr. Mustafa DİLEK
