İlköğretim fen bilgisi dersinde tüm canlılarla ortak yuvamız mavi gezegenimizi tanıyalım ve koruyalım ünitesinin proje çalışmaları ile öğretiminin öğrenci başarısına ve tutumuna etkisinin belirlenmesi

Abstract

İLKÖĞRETİM FEN BİLGİSİ DERSİNDE TÜM CANLILARLA ORTAKYUVAMIZ MAVİ GEZEGENİMİZİ TANIYALIM VE KORUYALIMÜNİTESİNİN PROJE ÇALIŞMALARI İLE ÖĞRETİMİNİN ÖĞRENCİBAŞARISINA VE TUTUMUNA ETKİSİNİN BELİRLENMESİYÜKSEK LİSANS TEZİMeryem GÖRECEKMUĞLA ÜNİVERSİTESİFEN BİLİMLERİ ENSTİTÜSÜ2007ÖZETBu çalışmanın amacı, İlköğretim Fen Bilgisi 7. sınıfta yer alan `Tüm CanlılarlaOrtak Yuvamız Mavi Gezegenimizi Tanıyalım ve Koruyalım' ünitesinin projeçalışmaları ile destekli öğretiminin öğrenci başarısı ve tutumuna etkisiniaraştırmaktır. Araştırmaya 7. sınıfta öğrenim görmekte olan toplam 41 öğrencikatılmıştır. Kontrol grubunda bulunan 20 öğrenciye geleneksel öğretimle, deneygrubunda bulunan 21 öğrenciye ise proje çalışmaları kullanılarak ders anlatılmıştır.Her iki grupta yer alan öğrencilere ders anlatımından önce `Tüm Canlılarla OrtakYuvamız Mavi Gezegenimizi Tanıyalım ve Koruyalım' ünitesi ile ilgili 25 sorudanoluşan başarıyı ölçme testi ve tutum ölçeği ön test olarak uygulanmıştır. Deneyselsüreç sonunda ise başarıyı ölçmek için yine aynı testler her iki gruba son test olarakuygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler bilgisayar ortamında SPSS 11.00 programındaanaliz edilmiştir. Analiz sonucunda proje çalışmaları ile destekli öğretimin yapıldığıdeney grubu ile geleneksel öğretimin yapıldığı kontrol grubu öğrencileri arasında,başarı testi sonuçlarında anlamlı bir farklılık tespit edilmiştir (P<0,05). Projeçalışmaları kullanılarak gerçekleştirilen öğretim sonucunda deney grubuöğrencilerinin tutum puanlarında artış gözlenmiştir. Total 41students of 7th grade participated in this study. 20 students inculed in the controlgroup were taught by means of traditional methods; on the other hand, 21 studentsincluded in the experimental group were taught the same unit by using project works.Before the unit was presented to the both groups, as pre-tests, 25 item achievementtest and attitude scale were administered to asses the students with regards to the unit?Getting to know and protecting our planet, we share with all the other creatures?.At the end of the experimental process, as post tests, the same tests wereadministered to the same groups in order to assess the success. The data optainedwere analyzed through SPSS 11.00 program. As a result of the analysis significantdifference (p<0.05) was found between the control group and experimental group.At the end of the teaching drawing on the project works, a considerable increase inthe attitude scores of the students were observed.
