Nazar, nazarlıkla ilgili inanışlar, uygulamalar ve bunların dini, mitolojik kökenleri (Gaziantep yöresi)

Abstract

Nazar inancı ve buna bağlı olarak gerçekleştirilen uygulamalar, pek çok toplumda görülmektedir. Yüzyıllardır insanlar, nazardan korunmak ve nazarın etkisini yok etmek için çeşitli uygulamalar gerçekleştirmektedir. Gaziantep'te de toplumun farklı kesimlerinden pek çok kişi bitkiler, hayvanlar, taşlar vs. olmak üzere çeşitli unsurlara ait pek çok yöntemi kullanarak kıskançlık, haset, beğeni gibi duygulardan oluştuğuna inanılan nazarı yok etme isteği duymuştur. Toplumda hala devam eden bu uygulamaların dini-mitilojik bağlamda değerlendirilmesi araştırmamızın konusunu oluşturmaktadır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Nazar, uygulamalar, Gaziantep
