Performans görevinin uygulanmasına ilişkin ilköğretim dördüncü ve beşinci sınıf öğrenci tutumları ve veli görüşlerinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, performans görevinin öğrenci ve veli görüşlerine göre incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini Gaziantep ilinde bulunan dört özel okul ve yedi devlet okulu oluşturmuştur. Özel okulda 288 ve devlet okulunda 735 ilköğretim dördüncü ve beşinci sınıf öğrencisi olmak üzere toplam 1023 öğrencinin görüşlerinden faydalanılmıştır. Ayrıca veli görüşlerinin tespit edilmesi amacıyla da 10 velinin görüşlerine başvurulmuştur. Araştırmanın modeli tarama modelidir. Araştırmada veri toplama yöntemi olarak kullanılan anket Çakan ve Akkaş (2006) tarafından geliştirilen geçerlik ve güvenilirliği kanıtlanmış performans ödevlerine ilişkin bir tutum ölçeğidir. Velilerle yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme yöntemine göre veri toplanması sağlanmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgulara göre; özel okuldaki öğrencilerin devlet okulundaki öğrencilere göre performans görevlerine yönelik daha olumlu bir tutum içinde oldukları tespit edilmiştir. Kız öğrencilerin erkek öğrencilere göre performans görevlerine yönelik daha olumlu bir tutum içerisinde oldukları belirlenmiştir. Dördüncü sınıf öğrencileri ile beşinci sınıf öğrencilerinin performans görevlerine yönelik tutumları arasındaki farkın anlamlı olmadığı belirtilmiştir. Veli görüşlerinde; performans görevlerinin öğrenci seviyesine indirgenmesi ve zamanında verilmesi ile performans görevlerinin amacına ulaşacağı sonucuna varılmıştır. Ayrıca performans görevlerinin akademik başarıya etkisinin artırılmasının merkezi sınav sistemindeki değişikliklerle ortaya çıkacağı da veli görüşmelerinden elde edilen bulgulardır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Performans görevi, öğrenci tutumu, veli görüşleri

In this study, it has been aimed to investigate the performance assignment according to students? and their parents views. Four private and seven state schools formed the example of the investigation. 1023 students views were utilized in total, 288 of them were private school students and 735 of them were primary education students in their fourth and fifth year. Also views of ten parents have been taken into account in order to reveal parents views. The model of the investigation is the model of surveying. The survey used as the means of gathering data is the attitude scale associated with performance assignment, which was developed by Çakan and Akkaş(2006) and its validity and reliability has been proven. Data were gathered by the method of half-structured interview with parents. According to the data gathered from the investigation, it has been specified that students in private schools have a more positive attitude to the performance assignment than students in state schools. It has been singled out that female students have a more positive attitude to the performance assignment than male students. It has been specified that the difference between the attitude of fourth-year and fifth-year students to the performance assignment isn't meaningful. In parents opinions; it has been concluded that the performance assignment will reach its target by reducing the performance assignment to the level of the students and giving it on time. Also it is one of the findings gathered by parents interviews that the increase of the influence of the performance assignment on the academic success will source from the changes in the central exam system.Key Words: Performance assignment, attitute of students, views of parents
