Abstract
GPS measurements are used extensively in determining of total electron content of the ionosphere. Atmospheric conditions of expected accuracy of the GPS measurement is directly related to the fact that accurate modeling of the ionosphere can be obtained from the GPS measurement accuracy increases. Ionospheric signal delays caused by the signal received at the ionosphere for curved path is related to the size of the calculated value of STEC. These values in the ionosphere in the vertical direction in order to determine the total electron density of electrons is converted to activity values that define the VTEC. Any epoch TEI values defined for a receiver in which the receiver of the signals received from satellites VTEC surrounding values are calculated using specific weighting algorithm. Application for measuring the distribution of satellite GPS position, according to the GDOP, PDOP quality criteria have been defined as. GPS measurements obtained on the quality of the TEC value in the satellite distribution is primarily effective. The findings from this study regarding the quality of the measurements relating to the ionosphere shows that the definition of a parameter. `Reliability of Total Electron Content - referred to as R-TEC` this parameter as a function of the ionosphere on the location precision is formed. R-TEC is defined, the receiver and the receiver which is receives the signal for a particular epoch. R-TEC defined for satellites weighting parameter used in the application is suggested as one of the algorithms. This weighting of the criteria most important difference compared to the others, in which the effect of satellite azimuth angle is also hosting. Therefore, Geometrical Quality Parameter (GQP) has been named.
