Türkiye enerji sektörü ve elektrik enerjisi talep tahmininin ekonometrik olarak incelenmesi (1980-2002)

Abstract

Enerji, insan yaşamının en vazgeçilmez unsuru olarak geçmişte olduğu gibi günümüzde de önemini korumaktadır. Enerji, ekonomik ve sosyal kalkınmanın temel girdistdir. Bu nedenle gelişmekte olan ülkelerin enerji talepleri sürekli olarak artmaktadır. Elektrik enerjisi ise birincil enerji kaynaklarından elde edilen ikincil bir enerjidir. Kullanım kolaylığı, istenildiği anda diğer enerji türlerine dönüştürülmesi ve çevreye zarar vermemesi gibi nedenlerle elektriğe olan talep sürekli canlı kalmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, dünya ve Türkiye enerji görünümünü ortaya koymak, Türkiye'deki enerji tüketimini farklı ülkelerle birlikte değerlendirmek ve Türkiye ekonomisinde önemli bir yere sahip olan elektrik enerjisinin ekonometrik bir model yardımıyla 2003-2007 dönemi için talep tahmininde bulunmaktır. Bu doğrultuda elektrik talebinin belMeyicilerinin yansıtıldığı bir model oluşturulmuş ve oluşturulan model yardımıyla beş yıllık bir süre için talep projeksiyonunda bulunulmuştur. Böylece geleceğin planlanması aşamasında planlamacılara elektrik talebiyle ilgili bir fikir sunulacağı düşünülmüştür. Çalışmada üç ayrı büyüme senaryosu için bulunan elektrik enerjisi talep tahminleri, 2003-2007 döneminde elektrik talebinin yüksek oranlarda artacağım ortaya koymaktadır.

Energy is the basic input of the economical and social development, for this reason, energy demands of the developing countries are increasing continuously. Electricity energy is the secondary energy source obtained from the primary energy sources. Due to the reasons of being easy to use, transformation to other energy types and not being harmul to the environment, etc, demand of electricity is still important. The aim of this study is to show the World's and Turkey's energy profile, to assess the energy consumption in Turkey with different countries and to forecasting the demand of electricity energy that has an important role of Turkish economy for 2003-2007 period by an econometric model. For this reason, a model including determinators of the electricity demand was constructed and demand projections was done for five years by this model. Thus, it was thought that it would be helpful for planners associated with electricity demand in the stage of future plans. In this study, the conjecture of electricity demand for three different growing sceneries estimates that electricity demands will increase in 2003-2007.
