Türk tekstil ve hazır giyim sanayiinin durumu ve ihracatına yönelik ekonometrik analiz

Abstract

Türk tekstil-hazır giyim sektörünün geçmiş ve bugünkü durumu incelenmiştir. Sektörün üretim ve ihracat oranlan rakip ülkelerlerle karşılaştırılmış; dünya ticareti ve Türkiye genel ekonomisindeki yeri saptanmıştır. Buna ilaveten üretim, pamuk fiyatı, döviz kuru ve ihraç birim fiyatı gibi bazı değişkenlerin ihracat geliri üzerindeki muhtemel etkileri dikkate alınarak bir çoklu doğrusal regresyon modeli geliştirilmiştir. Çalışmada kullanılan veriler ve bilgiler, Devlet İstatistik Enstitüsü, Devlet Planlama Teşkilatı, Hazine Müsteşarlığı ve İzmir Ticaret Borsası'ndan toplanmıştır. Hipotezleri test etmek için, çoklu doğrusal regresyon modeli SPSS paket programında analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, sektör ihracatı ile sektör üretimi, pamuk fiyatı, döviz kuru ve ihraç birim fiyatı arasında pozitif yönlü ve anlamlı ilişkinin varlığı ortaya konmuştur. Tez araştırmacılar için öneriler de içermektedir.

In this study, past and present conditions of Turkish textile and ready-made clothing sector were examined. Through comparing its production and export rates to those of competing countries, sector's position in the world trade and Turkish general economy was established. In addition, considering the probable effect of some variables such as production, price of cotton, exchange rate, and export unit price upon the income from export, a multi-linear regression model was developed. The data and information used in the study were collected from National Statistic Institute, State Planning Agency, The Undersecretariat of Treasury, and İzmir Commercial Exchange. To test the hypotheses, the developed multi-linear regression model was analyzed by using the software SPSS. According to the results of the study, a positive and significant relationship was found between the export of the sector and its production, price of cotton, exchange rate, and export unit price. In addition, this thesis contains also propositions for researchers.
