Sosyal değerlerin okul yaşamında yer alma düzeyleri

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, okul yaşamında varolan ve olması gerektiği düşünülen sosyal değerlerin belirlenmesi ve bu değerlerin okul yaşamında yer alma düzeylerinin incelenmesidir. Bu amaçla, okul yaşamında yer alan ve yer alması gerektiği düşünülen sosyal değerler belirlenmeye çalışılmış, belirlenen bu değerlerin okul yaşamında yer alma düzeyleri, öğretmen ve öğrenci görüşlerine göre iki boyutta incelenmiştir. Araştırmada sosyal değerlerin belirlenmesi amacıyla uygulanan ölçek araştırmacı tarafından oluşturulmuş, geçerlilik güvenilirlilik çalışmaları gerçekleştirildikten sonra ölçek son haline getirilerek uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Bilecik İli, Bozüyük İlçesinden random yöntemiyle belirlenmiş olan ilköğretim okulları oluşturmuştur. Ölçek, okullarda görev yapan öğretmenler ve 6.; 7. ve 8. sınıf öğrencilerine uygulanmıştır. Katılımcıların ölçeğe verdikleri yanıtlar doğrultusunda, yapılan analizlerle elde edilen sonuçlar doğrultusunda ölçek yeniden düzenlenerek uygulanmıştır. Verilerin analizi, t testi yapılarak elde edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunun ortaya koyduğu bulgulara göre, okul yaşamında yer alan sosyal değerler belirlenmiş, bu değerlerin görülme düzeyleri verilmiştir. Araştırmanın en önemli bulgusu, okul yaşamında varolan ve olması gerektiği düşünülen sosyal değerlerin, öğretmen ve öğrenci görüşlerine göre farklılık göstermesidir. The aim of this study was to identify the social values of school life and the ideal social values of school life. With this aim, the social values of school life and the ideal social values of school life were tried to identify and the role of these values of school life detailed with the teachers and students. Data were gathered through a questionaire developed by the author, after the analyses it was applied. Data were collected from teachers and the 6., 7. and 8. class students at Turkish public schools in Bozüyük which town is in the city of Bilecik. The social values identified by the t test analyses.The social values and their role in school life was given with the results of this study. The results indicates that degree of appreciation of social values of teachers and students was significant. The results also indicates that there was a significant difference in the degree of appreciation of social values in school settings as perceived by teachers and students.
