Samiha Ayverdi`nin eserlerinde üç temel Mekân: Konak, köşk ve yalı

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı; konak, köşk ve yalı ortamında büyüyen Sâmiha Ayverdi'nin bu mekânları, romanlarının itibarû âlemine nasıl yansıttığını tespitetmektir. Ayrıca yazarın, romanları haricindeki eserlerinde bu mekânlara ve bumekânlarda yaşayan insanlara bakış açısını belirlemektir.Bu çalışmada, evlerin insan hayatındaki önemi incelenmiş ve bu evlerarasında özel bir konumu bulunan konakların edebiyatımızdaki yeri üzerindedurulmuştur. Çalışmamızla bağlantılı olarak da, Sâmiha Ayverdi'nin konak, köşk veyalılara yer verdiği eserleri ele alınmıştır.Yaptığımız çalışmanın sonucunda, Sâmiha Ayverdi'nin, çocukluğunda derinizler bırakan bu mekânları gerek fiziksel gerek sosyal yönleriyle romanlarınaaktardığı görülmüştür. Ayrıca yazarın, bu konutları kültürel mekânlar olarakalgıladığı ve buralardaki geleneksel değerleri eserlerinde yaşatmaya çalıştığıbelirlenmiştir.

The aim of this research is to clear out how Sâmiha Ayverdi, who grew up inthe environment of mansion, villa and waterside residences, reflected these placesinto the fictive world of her novels. Besides this, the second purpose is to point outher point of views to these places and the people who lived there in her other works.In this research, the importance of houses in one?s daily life and themansions which have a special place among these houses have been examined. TheWorks of Sâmiha Ayverdi on mansions, villas and waterside residences, which arerelated to our research, have been pointed out.As the result of our research, we have concluded that Sâmiha Ayverditransferred these buildings not only from the point of their pyhsical sides but alsotheir social aspects into her novels as these places had impressed her life deeply.Also, we have determined that the author saw these buildings as cultural places andtried to make the traditional values which were in these buildings live in her novels.
