Abstract
Bu tez çalışmasında, toplumsal cinsiyet çerçevesinde `öteki erkek` olgusunun Türk Sineması içerisinde komedi türündeki filmlerde nasıl temsil edilip işlendiği incelenmektedir. Öncelikle toplumsal cinsiyet olgusu feminist eleştiri ekseninde ve kültür çerçevesinde ele alınmıştır. Sonrasında hegemonik erkekliğin, eril tahakküm, iktidar, beden sosyolojisi, erkeklik unsurları ile ilintisi tartışılmıştır. Akabinde ise `öteki erkek` olgusunun ne olduğunu anlayıp açıklamak için homofobi, dişilleştirme, marjinalize etme gibi unsurlarla ilişkisi ortaya koyulmuştur. Çalışmada, öteki erkeğin temsili filmsel anlatı içerisinde sorgulanmaktadır. Bunun için Türk Sineması'nda 2000 yılı sonrasında çekilmiş olan komedi türündeki Vizontele, G.O.R.A., Recep İvedik filmleri uygun görülmüştür. Film çözümlemelerinde, derinlemesine analiz yöntemi kullanılarak `öteki erkek` karakterler ve tiplemelerinin temsil ediliş biçimleri ve mizah unsuru olarak nasıl konumlandırıldıkları incelenmiştir. Ayrıca `öteki erkek` olgusunun cinsel kimlik ve tercihle olan ilişkisine de dikkat çekilmiştir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Toplumsal Cinsiyet, İktidar, İdeoloji, Kültür, Hegemonik Erkek, Öteki Erkek, Türk Sineması, Mizah. In this study, it's analyzed how the `other male` represented in comedy genre of Turkish cinema in the context of gender. First, `gender` is explained in the axis of feminist approach and culture. Then the relation of hegemonic masculinity with male domination, power, body sociology and masculinity is examined. In order to understand and describe the `other male` concept, it's relation with homophobia, feminization and marginalization is pointed out. This study questions the representation of the other male in filmic narrative. To do that, three Turkish films,-Vizontele, G.O.R.A and Recep Ivedik which were produced after 2000- were analyzed. To analyze the films, in-depth analysis method was used to examine the representational forms of `other male` characters and types and how they positioned as an element of humour. The relation between `other male` concept and sexual identity and preference was also pointed out in this study.Keywords: Gender, Power, Ideology, Culture, Hegemonic Male, Other Male, Turkish Cinema, Humor.
