dc.description.abstract | SUMMARY Below »presented a study for AC Choppers with PWM drive. At first chapters, study about AC Choppers in common, which is widely used in industries for such drives and speed controls.Than presented PWM Inverters, and PWM techniques generally. At last for AC motor drives on PWM Inverter Supplies, which are commonly used in commercials, some new control techniques are proposed, and also compared with the conventional techniques. With modern Microprocessor and Digital technologies, this new modulations proposed also the availibilaty of power factor controls, as additional to reach a smooth drive in such wide control areas.
