Abstract
56 SUMMARY It's known as being effective that the phenolic substances spreadly found in the structure of plant causes of some physiological phenomens. By taking into account functions of phenolic substances in plant structure the aim of thes study is to get to appear the relationship between phenolic compounds and compatibility, by investigating dispersions of phenolic compounds in combinations of selfing and crossing. The cultivars of fertile and sterile almond, apricot and cherry of stona fruits species have done selfing and crossing. After the pollination, (during five days) samples fixasted in FAA in order to investigate the pollen tube growth in style. The samples which dyed with alcali anilin blue was investigated with fluroseans microscope. In order to investigate the phenolic compounds after the pollination have been done (5 th days), pistil with stigma, style, and ovarium was been extracted with 80 % Ethanol: 0.04 % Ascorbic Acid. It was used TLC for researching phenolic compounds. The results obtained from the trials can be summarized as fol lows: 1) After the self pollination in Tuono, Turfanda tzmir, and Stella cultivars being self - sterile, the pollen tube was reached at the base of style. This situation indicates the approval of their self - compatibility again.57 2) In anfertile species (Mucan, Mektep and Salihli) pollen tube does not reach at the base of the style. 3) In almond, apricot and cherry varieties, it's found out 19 phenolic compounds which have different Rf values and colours. 4) In the cromatograms belonging to the samples of almond and cherry varieties occured 7 different spots whereas the samples of apricot varieties did 10 different spots. 5) The colour reactions of phenolic compounds are as follows: spot numbers 1, 2, 3, 15 and 16 are orange as Flavanoid; Spot numbers 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 17, 18 and 19 are light blue as Fenilpropan. 6) The dif ferentation in the spots separation in almond, apricot, and cherry species is distinctive factor from each other. 7) The determination of spots in selfing pollination cultivary means that the spots would play a distinctive role to differentiate the varietions in species. 8) The spots determined in the investigation of stigma, style, and ovarium of pistil one by one are generally the same as the ones found in the investigation as a whole. 9) The spots determined in the examination of each part of pistil; stgma, style and ovarium are very much similar to the ones examined as a whole withouth any cut. 10) It was showed that the amount of spots determined in selfing combinations was more than reciprocal pollination.
