Abstract

k-out-of-n systems and their generalizations are of specialimportance in reliability and engineering. The reliability properties ofsuch systems are widely investigated in the literature.In this study , the reliability tools of k-out-of-n systems arepresented. A consecutive k-out-of-n system, consists of n linearlyordered components, function if and only if k consecutivecomponents, is studied.Key words: Expected lifetime, Lifetime distribution,Relability analysis, Stochastic ordering,Structure function.
