On the other hand, other subjects which were not available in the prorgams such as skill teaching, application of coach profession, seminar, Turkish language, diction were considered necessary for the programs by the coaches 7. Teaching methods applied on the coach training programs were turned out to be just identical with the teaching methods suggested by the coaches. 8. Coaches found the duration of programs applied by DGYS too short. 9. Coaches partly obtained the printed matters before the programs. 10. Coaches were not satistified with daily course schedule. 11. Coaches wanted the number of trainees in one class should not be in excess of 30. And, the coaches of individual sport branch demanded that the number should be far less than the said number. 12. Coaches gave importance to the attendance to courses. 13. Coaches demanded to find out the fact that to what extend the prorgmas about the assessment duration were successful. Accordingly, the participants suggested a pre-test and post-test. The findings of the research. indicated that coaches wanted the present coach training programs to be changed and that the present applications were not sufficently effective. According to the result, some suggestions as to the effectiveness of coach training were presented. | |
