dc.description.abstractVI ÖZET Bu çalışmada etken maddesi Piroksikam olan jel preparatlarda Piroksikam ve jellerde koruyucu olarak bulunan benzil alkol tayini bir arada gerçekleştirilmiştir. Piroksikam, etanol - pH 7.8 fosfat tamponu (10:90) karışımı içinde direkt UV spektroskopisi (354.4 nm) ve 2.türev spektroskopisi yöntemiyle (258.6 nm, n=5) tayin edilmiştir. Benzil alkol tayini ise normal spektrumdaki girişim nedeniyle 2.türev spektroskopisi (261.8 nm, n=5) yöntemi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Sonuçlar, istatistiksel olarak değerlendirilmiştir.
dc.description.abstractVII SUMMARY The quantity of active substance and preservative, benzyl alcohol in gel preparations have been determined with UV spectroscopy. Ethanol - pH 7.8 phosphate buffer mixture (10:90) was used as solvent during the assay. Quantitative determination of Piroxicam in gels was performed at 354.4 nm in direct spectrum and at 308.6 nm (n=5) in second order derivative spectrum. The derivative spectroscopic method made determination of Piroxicam and benzyl alcohol possible simultaneously. So, benzyl alcohol that couldn't be determined because of enterferance of Piroxicam in direct spectrum has also been determined with the same solvent system at 261.8 nm (n=5) in second order derivative spectrum. Finally, the results were statistically evaluated.en_US
