İlköğretim fen ve sınıf öğretmen adaylarının çevre sorunları ve çevre eğitimine ilişkin görüşleri

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın genel amacı, öğretmen adaylarının Çevre Sorunları ve Çevre Eğitimi konusuna yönelik görüşlerinin belirlenmesidir. Çalışma, Fırat Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi İlköğretim Anabilim Dalı Fen Bilgisi Öğretmenliği Bölümü'nde okuyan öğretmen adayları ile Sınıf Öğretmenliği Bölümü'nde okuyan öğretmen adayları üzerinde1. sınıf, 2. sınıf, 3. sınıf, 4. sınıf, I. ve II. öğretimde okuyan toplam 659 öğretmen adayı üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmada tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. `Çevre Sorunları ve Çevre Eğitimi'ne İlişkin Görüşler Ölçeği` araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde SPSS paket programı kullanılmıştır. Anket yoluyla belirlenen veriler, betimsel istatistik teknikleri kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir.Elde edilen verilerin t testi sonuçlarına göre; fen bilgisi ve sınıf öğretmeni adaylarına çevre sorunları ve çevre eğitimine ilişkin görüşleri ölçeğinin uygulamasında, fen bilgisi öğretmeni adaylarının lehine anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmuştur. Fen bilgisi öğretmeni adaylarının sınıf öğretmeni adaylarına göre çevre sorunları ve çevre eğitimi konusunda daha duyarlı olduğunu söyleyebiliriz.Anahtar Kelimeler: Çevre eğitimi, çevre sorunları fen eğitimi, fen bilgisi öğretmen adayları, sınıf öğretmeni adayları

The overall objective of this research is to determine preservice students' attitudes toward the subject environmental problems and education. Study was performed on total of 659 preservice teachers in the Firat University Faculty of Education Department of Elementary Education and Science Education Departments on 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade studying to normal classes and evening classes. In this study was used to survey metod. Environmental problems and environmental education related to opinions scale developed by the researchers. The data determined by survey, It was evaluated using descriptive statistical techniques.The SPSS was used to analyze the data.According to the obtained data of the t-test results; in science and elementary preservice teachers' opinions on the scale of environmental problems and environmental education related to opinions, there is a significant difference in favor of science preservice teachers. According to results,it can be said that preservice science teachers is more sensitive to environmental issues and environmental education than elementary preservice students.Key Words: Environmental education, environmental problems science education, science preservice teachers, elementary preservice teachers.
