?27 Mayıs 1960 Askeri Müdahalesi'nin İzmir'de Uygulanışı Ve Etkileri? konulu bu tez, beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde 27 Mayıs dönemi için kullanılan kavramlar açıklanmaktadır. Sonraki bölümlerde ise sırasıyla; İzmir'deki siyasi hayat, 27 Mayıs 1960 Askeri Müdahalesi'nin gerçekleştirilmesi, İzmir'de yaşananlar ve son bölümde ise 1961 Anayasası ve genel seçimlerle birlikte Askeri idare döneminin nihayet bulması konuları işlenmiştir.

Sequentially in the following chapters, the subjects of the political life in Izmir, the execution of 27 May 1960 Military Intervention, what is lived through in Izmir and in the last chapter the ending of Military government period with the constitution of 1961 and general elections analyzed.
