Abstract

Heykel tasarımında düşünce ve duyguyu imgeleştirebilme, heykeltıraşın en büyük kaygısıdır. Heykel yapmak heykeltıraş için, bir malzemeyi ustaca kullanabilmek, iyi bir kompozisyon oluşturabilmenin ötesinde başka bir şeydir. Önemli bir sözü heykele uyarlayarak dile getirmek açıklayıcı olabilir: Heykel yapmak başka, heykeltıraş olmak başka bir şeydir. İmge yaratma, imgeleştirme üzerine düşünceler; yaratım sürecinin irdelenmesini, sanatsal yaratmanın nasıl gerçekleştiğinin çözümlenmesini, heykel tasarımında malzeme ve mekanın imgeleştirmedeki yeri ve öneminin araştırılmasını da beraberinde getirmektedir.Bu çalışmanın birinci bölümünde yaratıcılık, yaratım aşamaları, genel düşünme biçimleri, sanatsal yaratmanın kökeni ve kaynağına yönelik yaklaşımlar, uzaysal bilişin heykel tasarımındaki önemi açıklanmış, ikinci bölümde imge, imgelem nedir, imgeleştirme süreci ve oluş şekli ile üçüncü bölümde heykel tasarımında malzeme ve mekanın yeri incelenmiş ve dördüncü bölümde yeni bir sanatsal adımın göstergesi olarak değerlendirilen `Yeni Eski Ustalar` söylemi irdelenerek bazı heykeller üzerinden pekiştirilmeye çalışılmıştır.

On sculpture design, imaging of thought and feeling is sculptor's most prominent target. For a sculptor, creating a statue is some thing far beyond the usage of the materials skill fully and the creating a good composition. Adapting a prominent speech on the statue may be descriptive: Creating a statue is different from being sculptor. Creating image and thoughts on imaging comes together with examining the process of creation, analyzing how the creation was materialized and also investigating the importance of materials and space on imaging.In the first part of this study, creativity, phases of creation, general thought styles, approaches to the origin and source of artistic creating and importance of visual-spatial cognition in sculpture design were explained. In the second part, image, meaning of imagination and the process of the imaging and genesis were discussed. In the third part, the materials and the space in sculpture design were investigated. And in the fourth , `New Old Masters` discourse, which is thought as an indicator of a new artistic step, was analyzed and tried to reinforce through some sculptures.
