Abstract

Bugün hızla değişen kültür ortamımızda geleneksel sivil mimarlık örneklerinin tesbit edilerek incelenmesi mimarimizin geleceğine ışık tutacaktır. üzerinde henüz herhangi bir çalışma yapılmamış olan Sivrihisar geleneksel evlerinin incelendiği bu çalışmada, ana yol üzerinde ol masına karşın fazla bozulmamış, halen bir takım kültürel değerleri ni yaşatabilen bu ilçedeki, sivil mimarlık örnekleri tesbit edilip, ' yaşam koşulları, yapım tekniği, şehirleşme de gözönüne alınarak, varolan dokuyu korumak ve yaşatmak için gerekli olan koşullar araş tırılmıştır. Altı' bölümden oluşan tezin; birinci bölümünde, çalışmanın nere de ve hangi amaç ile yapıldığı, nasıl bir çalışma yöntemi izlendiği ve karşılaşılan sorunlar belirtilmiştir. Genel tanıtımın yapıldığı ikinci bölümde; ilçenin geçmişi, yer leşim alanının doğal ve yapay özellikleri ile geleneksel dokunun oluşumu anlatılmıştır. üçüncü bölümde ise, geleneksel doku içindeki korunması önerilen 135 konutun tanıtımı yapılmıştır. -m-Bu dokunun mimari, teknik, gereç, şehircilik açılarından detay lı olarak incelendiği dördüncü bölümde ayrıca eski yapılanma koşul ları belirtilip bağ evleri ve îç Anadolu ile karşılaştırmalar yapıl mış, olayın sosyo-ekonomik ve güncel sorunları ile spontaneliği araştırılmıştır. Beşinci bölümde geleneksel doku tek yapı boyutunda ve kent Öl çeğinde değerlendirilmiştir. Bir örnek sokak üzerinde yapılan restorasyon çalışmasının da katkısıyla yine kent ölçeğinde ve tek yapı boyutunda koruma ve res torasyon ile ilgili öneriler ile çalışma tamamlanmıştır.

In the continuously changing cultural environment of today's, the discovery of the traditional civil architecture works will enlighten the future of our architecture. In this study, traditional houses of Sivrihisar on which no pre vious work exist are investigated. Although this town is on the main highway, some traditional cultural values are still alive. In this study, the civil architecture examples are determined and the conditions for the protection and continuation of the existing structure are investigated considering the living conditions, struc tural technics and trends of growing of the town. The thesis is divided into six chapters. In the first chapter, the location of the site, aims of the study and the methods used are described. In the second chapter, a general description of the town; history, natural and artificial characteristics of the town and the development of the traditional structure are mentioned. In the third chapter, 135 houses of the structure are found to be worth protection and the descriptions of these houses are given. -v-In the fourth chapter architectural and technical aspects of the structure are investigated in detail. The conditions on which the traditional structure has developed are also mentioned and vine yard houses are compared with Middle Anatolia to investigate the social and economical problems of the event. In the fifth chapter, the traditional structure was discussed in the scale of the both of the single house and the town. The thesis was completed with the last chapter in which the some cautions for the protection and the continuation of the traditional structure in both of single house and the town scale was given according to results of the restoration works on a street.
