Cicer arietinum L.`da karyotip analizler

Abstract

ÖZET SEMA TÜLAY ONER M.S. G.Ü. FEN BÎLÎMLERÎ ENSTİTÜSÜ 19 86 Karyotip analizler, cicer arietinum L. 'un somatik kök ucu metafazında yapıldı ve çalışmalarda Sahabettin ELÇİ (1966) nin geliştirdiği teknik uygulandı. Metafaz evresinde yapılan kromozom sayımında 2n = 16 kromozom tesbit edildi. Bu somatik kromozom sayısı, daha önceki araştırmacıların belirttikleriyle aynı bulundu. Kromozom boylarının ölçümünden elde edilen neticeler 1,52/j. ile 3,14u arasında değişiklik gösterdi. Satellide sahip sadece birçift kromozom tespit edilebildi ve bu kromozomun takımın en uzun kromozomu olduğu gözlendi. Kromozomların boylarının küçük ve kısalma oranlarının da fazla olması sebebiyle satellidlerin duruşunu ayırt etmek fevkalâde zordu ve sentromerlerin pozisyonunu da tesbit etmek mümkün olmadı. -II-

Karyotype analysis was carried out on somatic root-tip methaphases of cicer arietinum L. and the tecnique of jŞaha- bettin ELÇÎ (1966) was fallowed. 16 chromosomes were observed during metaphase. These somatic chromosome numbers were found to be same as reported by earlier workers. Lenght of the chromosomes were found to vary from 1,52/i to 3, 74a£ A pair of satellited chromosomes was distinguishable and these satellited chromosomes were longest of the complement. Due to small size and the hightly condensed state of the chromosomes, the presence of satellites was difficult to determine and also exact posi tions of the centromere could not be fixed. -Ill-
