Abstract

ÖZET Bu çalışma Gazi üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitü sü' nde; Sırrı Aydıntan tarafından, 1986 yılında yüksek lisans tezi olarak hazırlandı. Birinci bölümde manifoldlar teorisi ve grup teoriden, gerekli olan bilgiler temel kavramlar olarak sunuldu. ikinci bölümde Lie grupları, özellikle matris Lie grupları örnek ve özellikleriyle ele alındı. Üçüncü bölümde Lie cebirleri teorisinin 4. bölüm için gerekli olan kısmına ayrıldı. Dördüncü bölümde bir Lie grubunun Lie cebiri ve il gili özellikleri verildi. Beşinci bölümde matris Lie grubu G ve G nin Lie ce biri g olmak üzere bir H C G alt Lie grubunun Lie cebiri g nin bir n Lie a,lt cebiri olarak elde edilişi ele alındı.

ABSTRACT This study was made for master of secience by Sirrx Aydxntan at the £ecience Institute of Gazi University. In the first chapter the necessary informations in the theory of manifolds and groups was offered as fundamen tal concepts. In the second chapter, Lie groups, particularly matrices Lie groups were studied with their examples and specialities. The necessary concepts for the theory of Lie algebras which mentioned in fourth chapter was cjiven in third chapi ter. Lie algebras of Lie groups and their specialities were given in the fourth chapter. In the fifth chapter, obtaining a Lie subalgebra h of Lie algebra g for Lie Subgroup H of Lie group G was resarched.
