İNDANDİON VE TÜREVLERİNİN AS1TL1K SABİTLERİ YÜKSEK LİSANS TEZİ (KİMYA) Ferit Aydemir Mart 1991 GAZİ ÜNİVERSİTESİ FEN BİLİMLERİ ENSTİTÜSÜ ÖZ Organik bileşiklerin kimyasal özelliğini belirleyen asitlik, sadece organik asitler olarak bilinen bileşiklerde değil, diğer organik bileşiklerde de gözlenmektedir. Bu çalışmada birer keton olan bis-1,3- indandion, indandion ve 2-fenilindandion bileşiklerinin karbon ve oksijen asitligi üzerinde çalışıldı. Bu çalışmada potansiyometrik ve spektrofotometrik yöntemler kullanıldı. Asitlik sabitleri tayin edilen bileşikler, laboratuvarda sentezlendi. Bis-l,3-indandionun pKa değerleri, sırası ile PKaı : 7.153, pKa2 : 9.934 (potansiyometrik) ve pKa : 7.70 (spektrofotometrik), indandion için pKa değerleri 7.38 (potansiyometrik), 7.32 (spektrofotometrik), 2-fenilindandion için pKa değeri 4.12 (spektrofotometrik) olarak bulundu. ABSTRACT The acidity, indicating chemical features of the organic compounds, is observed not only on the compunds known as organic acids, but also on the other organic compunds. This study works on the carbonic acidity of bis-1,3- indandion, indandion and 2-phenylindandion compounds, which are all ketones. Within the framework of this study, the potentiometric and spec trophotome trie methods were used. Upon determination of the acidity constant, the compounds were synthesized in the labora tory. The pK values for bis-l,3-indandion were pKa^ = 7.153 and pKa2 = 9.934 (potentiometric) and pKa = 7.70 (spectrophotometric) and these for indandion were found to be 7.38 (potentiometric) and 7.32 (spectrophotomet ric), as it was 4.12 (spectrophotometric) for 2-phenyl indandion.
