Abstract

AĞAÇ YÜZEYLERDE KULLANILAN VERNİKLERİN SU ÎLE ERİTİLEN AĞAÇ BOYALARININ RENGİNDE YAPTIĞI DEĞİŞİKLİKLER (Yüksek Lisans Tezi) Nevzat ÇAKICIER GAZİ ÜNİVERSİTESİ FEN BİLİMLERİ ENSTİTÜSÜ HAZİRAN 1994 ÖZET Ağacın doğal rengi çoğu zaman bulunduğu ortam ile uyumlu olmayabilir; veya klasik işler pahalı satılmak için, antik boyama yapılabilir. Masif ve kaplaması aynı ağaçtan hazırlanan işlerde bile iyi bir renk uyumu sağlamak zordur. Bu nedenle ağacın boyanması gerekir. Mobilyaların uzun süre kirlenmemesi ve göze daha hoş görünebilmesi de yüzeylerin verniklenmesine bağlıdır. Bu araştırmada; kayın, meşe, dişbudak, çam numuneler üzerine uygulanan; kimyasal, Alman cevizi, anilin ve özel formüllü su boyaları ile kullanılan selülozik, sentetik, poliüretan ve asit sertleştiricili vernikten sonra meydana gelebilecek renk tonu değişikliği araştırılarak karşılaştırmaları yapılmıştır. Thesis) Nevzat ÇAKICIER GAZI UNIVERSTY INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY JUNE 1994 ABSTRACT Color harmony of the woodwork with the furnishing of a home requires staining, since natural tones of wood does not usually harmonise with its environment. Moreover, classical furniture are painted in order to give them an anti a ue view and to sell them a more expensive prise. It is difficult to make uniform color on solid wood and veneers, even they were obtained from same timber. For this reason it is necessary that furniture surf aces.are colored in addition. Wood stains doesn't protect wood from exterior effects for this reason wood surfaces need to be covered with the organic coating (Varnishes). This research covers effect of varnishes such as cellulosic, synthetic, polyurethan and acid component melamine-f ormaldehyde varnishes on the hue of pine, oak and ash wood pannels after treated with water soluble wood stains which are chemical, Coal-tar stains, ground up walnut stain and special product of aniline stain.
