dc.description.abstractETANOL - SU ORTAMLARINDA BAZI AMİNO ASİTLERİN İYONLAŞMA DENGELERİNİN İNCELENMESİ (Yüksek Lisans Tezi) Günseli TORUNO?LÜ Gazi Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü ÖZ Bu çalışmada bazı amino asitlerden lösin, isolösin, methionine proline, aspartic acid, glutamic acid,'in iyonlaşma sabitleri su, % 10 etanol - % 90 su, % 20 etanol - % 90 su, % 40 etanol - % 60 su, % 60 etanol - % 40 su, % 80 etanol - % 20 su ortamlarında potansiyometrik titrasyon metoduyla tayin edilmiştir. Titrasyonlar 25 °C'da azot atmosferinde ve iyonik şiddeti sodyum perkloratla 0. 1 M'a ayarlanmış ortamlarda yapılmıştır. Titrasyon verilerinden yararlanarak j- p[Hİ oluşum eğrileri elde edilmiş ve bu eğrilerden iyonlaşma sabitleri bulunmuştur. Amino asitlerin iyonlaşma sabitlerinin çözücü bileşimi ile değişimi incelendiğinde pK2 değerlerinin ortamdaki etanol oram arttıkça genel olarak azaldığı; pKj değerlerinin ise genel olarak arttığı görülmüştür.

Thesis) Günseli TORUNO?LU GAZI UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ABSTRACT In this research, ionization constants of some of the amino acids with the name of lösin, isolösin, methionine, proline, aspartic acid, glutamic acid ionization constants of the some acids were determined by potentiometric titration in the following solvents : water, 10 % ethanol - 90 % water, 20 % ethanol - 80 % water, 40 % ethanol - 60% water, 60 % ethanol - 40 % water, 80 % ethanol - 20 % water. The titrations were performed at 25 °C, in nitrogen atmosphere and during the titrations, the ionic strength of the medium was maintainde at 0, 1 M by using sodium perchlorate. The formation curves of the amino acids ( j - p[H]J were obtained by the means of the titration data. Then the ionization constant was determined in relation with these curves. The relation between the variation of the solvent composition and the ionization constants of the amino acids was studied and as the conclusion, it was generally observed that due to the increase of the ethanol percent in the medium, pK2 values gradually began to decrease but invertedly the pK, values began to increase.en_US
