Bazı Strenbergia Wadst. and Kit. türlerinin karyolojisi

Abstract

Slernbergia Wadst.& Kit. cinsi, Türkiye'de yedi türle temsil edilmektedir. Bunlardan dördü, Sternbergia lutea, Sternbergia sicula, Stembergia clusiana ve Sternbergia colchiciflora, kromozom morfolojileri bakımından çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca bunlardan iki türde S. lutea ve S.sicula'da C-bandlan da belirlenmiştir. S. lutect'nın hem diploid (2n=22) hemde triploid (2n=33) olduğu, S. sicula' nm diploid ve 2n=22 olduğu, S. clusiana ve S. colchiciflora 'nında diploid ve 2n=20 olduğu belirlenmiştir. S. lutea ve S. sicula' de temel kromozom sayısı X=ll ve S. clusiana ve S. colchiciflora 'da X= 10'dur. Kromozom boylan, S. lutea, S. sicula, S.clusiana ve 5`. colchiciflora' da. sırasıyla 19.85-5.15 um, 17.88-5.16 um, 26.32-10.00 um ve 12.19- 3.75 um arasındadır. S. lutea' nm karyotipi lm+lsm+4st+5t, S sicula' nm, lm+lsm+3st +6t, S. clusiana'nın 2m+2sm+lst+5t ve S. colchiciflora' nın ise 2m+lsm+lsm-st+ 4st+2t'dir. Satellitler S. lutea' da 8. kromozomun, S. sicula' da 6., S. clusiana' da 10., S.colchiciflord 'da ise 7. ve 9. kromozomların kısa kollarındadır. S. lutea' da bütün kromozomlar sentromerik C-bandı göstermiştir. Ayrıca, 2 ve 8 nolu kromozomların birer temsilcisinin uzun kolları interstisiyal C-bandı taşımaktadır. S.sicula'da, 4, 7 ve 10 nolu kromozomların dışındakilerin hepsi konstitütif heterokromatine sahiptir. Bütün C-bandları sentromerik iken, kromozom 5 kısa kolunda bir interstisiyal C-bandı taşımaktadır. 2 nolu kromozomun bir üyesi ekstra bir interstisiyal C-bandına sahiptir. Diğer yandan, kromozom 8 uzun kolunda bir proksimal band taşımaktadır. The genus Stembergia Wadst. and Kit. is represeneted in Turkey by seven species. Four of them, Stembergia lutea, Stembergia sicula, Stembergia clusiana and Stembergia colchiciflora were studied in terms of chromosome morphology. C- banding were also detected in two of these species: S. lutea and S.sicula. S. lutea was found to be diploid (2n=22) and triploid (2n=33), S.sicula diploid with 2n= 22, and S. clusiana and S. colchiciflora diploid with 2n=20 chromosomes. Basic chromosome number in S. lutea and S.sicula is X=ll, and in S.clusiana and S.colchiciflora is X=10. Chromosome lengths in S. lutea, S. sicula, S.clusiana and S.colchiciflora are between 19.85-5.15 um, 17.88-5.16 um, 26.32-10.00 um and 12.19-3.75 urn, respectively. The karyotype of 5`. lutea is lm+lsm+4st+5t; of S.sicula is lm+lsm+3st+6t, of S.clusiana is 2m+2sm+lst+5t, of S.colchiciflora is 2m+lsm+lsm-st+4st+2t. Satellites were on the short arms of Chromosome 8 in S. lutea, 6 in S. sicula, 10 in S.clusiana and 7 and 9 in S.colchiciflora. All the chromosomes in S. lutea showed centromeric C-band. In addition, one representative of chromosome 2 and 8 carry an interstitial C-band on the long arm. In S.sicula, all the chromosomes have constitutive heterochromatin except chromosomes 4, 7 and 10. While all C-bands were centromeric, only chromosome 5 carries an interstitial C-band on the short arm. One representative of chromosome 2 has an extra interstitial C-band.
