Nötrinö salınımları

Abstract

Bu tezin ilk kısmında nötrino fiziğinin tarihi gelişimi özetlendi. Nötrinolann etkileşmesi ve simetrileri elektrozayıf model çatısında tartışıldı. Nötrino kütle problemi ve karışım matris parametrelerini fermiyon kütlelerine bağlayan değişik modeller çalışıldı. See-saw mekanizması tanımlandı. Fritzsch ansatzın lepton sektörüne genişletilmesi verildi ve leptonik karışım matrisi elde edildi. Sonuçta bulunan parametreler kullanılarak, güneş nötrinolan için nötrino salınımı değerlendirildi ve sonuçlar mevcut verilerle kıyaslandı. In the first part of this thesis we have summarized historical development of neutrino physics. The interactions of neutrinos and their symmetries are discussed in the framework of the elektroweak model. The problem of neutrino mass and various models relating the mixing parameters to the fermion masses are studied. The see-saw mechanism is introduced. An extension of Fritzsch ansatz to lepton sector is given and resulting leptonic mixing matrix is calculated. Using the resulting parameters we estimate the neutrino oscillation for the solar neutrinos and compare our results with the available data.
