Labaratuvar destekli fen bilgisi öğretiminin öğrenci başarısına etkisi

Abstract

Ill LABORATUVAR DESTEKLİ FEN BİLGİSİ Ö?RETİMİNİN Ö?RENCİ BAŞARISINA ETKİSİ (Yüksek Lisans Tezi) Selahattin BEKAR GAZİ ÜNİVERSİTESİ FEN BİLİMLERİ ENSTİTÜSÜ Haziran 1996 OZ Bu çalışmada; Eğitim Fakültelerinde, laboratuvar destekli fen bilgisi öğretimi, öğ rencilerin akademik başarısını etkilemekte midir? sorusuna cevap aranmıştır. Bunun için 24 fen deneyi rastlantısal olarak seçilen; 20 öğrenci için bireysel deneyler, 60 öğrenci için grup deneyleri olarak yaptırılmıştır. 40 öğrenci grubunada gösteri deneyi olarak izlettirilmiştir. Araştırmada 20 kişilik bir öğrenci grubuna klasik yöntemle fen bilgisi dersi verilmiştir. Bu son grup kontrol grubu olarak alınmıştır. Gruplardaki öğrenci başarıları test yöntemiyle ölçülmüştür. Ayrıca bütün öğrencilere bir öğrenci tanıma anketi uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada alman verilerin istatistik analizlerinden şu bulgular elde edilmiştir; 1. Deney grubu öğrencileri kontrol grubu öğrencilerinden daha başarılıdırlar.IV 2. Deney gruplarındaki basarı sırası; bireysel deney, grup deneyleri ve gösteri deneyleri şeklindedir. 3. Cinsiyetlerine göre öğrencilerin deneylerdeki başarıları arasında anlamlı bir fark yoktur. 4. Öğrencilerin geldikleri lise türlerine göre, başarıları; deney türlerine göre an lamlı olup, farklılık göstermektedir.

V EFFECT OF THE LABORATORY SUPPORT NATURAL SCIENCES EDUCATION ON THE STUDENT SUCCESS (M.Sc. Thesis) Selahattin BEKAR GAZI UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY June 1996 ABSTRACT In this study, an answer is given to the following question:` Does the lab. en couraged natural sciences education effect the students' academical success?` For this purpose, 24 scientific experiments have been done by randomly choosen students, 20 experiments have been done by individual students and group experiments have been done by 60 students. In the study, experiment has been observed by a group of 40 students. In this study, classical natural lectures are given to a group of 20 students. This last group is considered as a control group. Success of students in different groups has been measured by testing method. In addition, a student survey has been applied to all students. The results below has been determined by applying a statistical analysis to datas obtained from this study; 1. Experiment groups of students are more successfull than control groups of stu dents.VI 2. The sort of experiment groups, from the most successfull to less is that personal experiments, group experiments and indicator experiments. 3. There is no any meaningfull difference between the successfull of different sexes. 4. The successes of students according to the educational level of their high schools are meaningfull with respect to the kind of experiment and shows a difference with eachother.
