Abstract

BENZETİM VE AMAÇ PROGRAMLAMA TEKNİKLERİNİN GSM-900 SİSTEMİ SERVİS SAYILARININ TESPİTİNDE KULLANILMASI (YÜKSEK LİSANS TEZİ) Selçuk ARSLAN GAZİ ÜNİVERSİTESİ FEN BİLİMLERİ ENSTİTÜSÜ Ağustos 2000 ÖZET Bu tezde; çok amaçlı programlamaya ilişkin literatür araştırması ile dünyada telekomünikasyon ve bilhassa gezgin sistemlerde kullanılan ve yakın gelecekte kullanılması hedeflenen teknolojilere ilişkin bir araştırma yapılmıştır. Bunun yanısıra, GSM teknolojisinin altyapısı incelenmiş, dünyada ve Türkiye 'deki mobil uygulamaların tarihçesi hakkında detaylı bilgi verilmiştir. Tezin uygulama kısmında, GSM-900 baz istasyonu servis sayılan, benzetim ve amaç programlama teknikleri kullanılarak belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Baz istasyonlarının ortalama servis doluluk oranlarının ve hizmet gören müşteri sayısının belirlenebilmesi için benzetim modeli oluşturulmuş, elde edilen sonuçlar sistemin tesisinde gerekli olan çeşitli kriterlerin amaç programlamada kullanılmasıyla optimum hale getirilmiş ve bu sektörde kullanılmakta olan çözüm yöntemiyle sonuçlar karşılaştırılmıştır. Benzetim modeli için, Pascal dilinde n servisli sistemlerin benzetimine imkan veren bir bilgisayar programı yapılmış; amaç programlama modelinin çözümünde ise Mathprog paket programı kullanılmıştır. DETERMINING THE NUMBER OF SERVICES IN GSM-900 SYSTEM BY SIMULATION AND GOAL PROGRAMMING TECHNIQUES (M.Sc. Thesis) Selçuk ARSLAN GAZİ UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY August 2000 ABSTRACT In this thesis, a literature research has been made about multi-goal programming and especially about the mobile technologies which are used and are intended to be used in telecommunications sector in the near future. Besides, the GSM infrastructure has been examined and a fully information about mobile implementations in Turkey and in the world has been provided in detail. In the application part of this thesis, simulation and goal programming techniques were used to determine the number of services in a GSM-900 base station system. A simulation model was performed for evaluating the number of served customers and the average rates of service penetration, consideringly the results were assessed in a goal programming model to optimize the system, taking into account the criteria required in facilitating the system. For the simulation model, a program enabling multi service simulation has been performed in Pascal format; the goal programming model has been solved by Mathprog packet program.
