Kars`ta Rus işgali dönemi (1878-1918) konut mimarisi

Abstract

KARS'TA RUS İŞGALİ DÖNEMİ (1878-1918) KONUT MİMARİSİ (Yüksek Lisans Tezi) ASUMAN ÇİFTÇİ GAZİ ÜNİVERSİTESİ FEN BİLİMLERİ ENSTİTÜSÜ Temmuz 2000 ÖZET Kars'ta 1878-1918 yılları arasında Rus işgali döneminde inşa edilen konutların mimarı özellikleri incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın amacı, daha önce incelenmemiş, oldukça farklı bir kültürel kimliği içinde barındırmış Kars kentinin, sahip olduğu bu mimari değerlerin, konutların belgelenmesıdır. Öncelikle ilk bölümde kentin coğrafi yapısı, tarihine değinilmiş, işgal yıllarında idari yapı ve nüfus gibi sosyal yapının değişimi incelenmiştir, İkinci bölümde kentte Rus dönemindeki mimarı anlayış genel olarak ifade edilmiş, dini, resmi ve ticari yapıların nitelikleri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Tezin asıl konusunu oluşturan üçüncü bölümde ise, döneme ait konutların mimarı özelliklen ayrıntılı bir biçimde incelenmiş, plan ve yapı elemanları, yapı malzeme ve teknikleri, plan ve cephe tipleri ortaya konmuştur. Dördüncü bölümde ise üzerinde inceleme yapılan konutlar katalog biçiminde anlatılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, işgal dönemine ait mimarı kimlik, etkileşimler. DWELUNG ARCHITECTURE IN 1878-1918 DURING RUSSIAN CONQUEST PERIOD IN KARS (M. Sc. Thesis) Asuman ÇİFTÇİ GAZİ UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY July 2000 ABSTRACT The architectural characteristics of the houses which were built in 1878-1918 Russian Conquest Period in Kars were inspected. The aim of this study is to make documentaiton of the architectural values, houses belong to Kars which includes very different cultural identity and hasn't been researched before. Firstly, in the begining part, the geographical structure of the city and history were touched on and the social structure such as administitrative structure and population were invested. In the second part, the architectural understanding in Russian period in the city was generalized and information has been given about the characteristics of the religious, official and and commercial structures. In the third part, which constitutes the essence subject of the thesis, the architectural characteristics of the houses belong to the period was invested in details, plan and structural elements, materials of structure and its techiniques. plan and facade techiniques were put forward. In the fourth part, the researched houses were told in cataloque. As a result. the architectural identity of the conquest period effects, the reflections of Russian and reigonal architecture to Kars were summarized and evaluated in general.
