Lise 2 öğrencilerinde çekirdek tepkimeleri ve radyoaktiflik konusunda yanlış kavramların tespiti ve giderilmesi

Abstract

LİSE II ÖĞRENCİLERİNDE ÇEKİRDEK TEPKİMELERİ VE RADYOAKTİFLİK KONUSUNDA YANLIŞ KAVRAMLARIN TESPİTİ VE GİDERİLMESİ (Yüksek Lisans Tezi) Hasan Fehmi ERÇOKLU GAZİ ÜNİVERSİTESİ FEN BİLİMLERİ ENSTİTÜSÜ Haziran 2001 ÖZET Lise öğrencilerinin çekirdek tepkimeleri ve radyoaktiflik konusunda yanlış kavramaların tespit edilmesi. Araştırma Ankara Özel Maltepe Dershanesi Sakarya Şubesinde Lise 2. Sınıflarında, 2000-2001 öğretim yılında yapıldı. Araştırma beş haftalık sürede tamamlandı. Ankara'nın değişik liselerinde okuyan sayısal öğrencilerden oluşmuş, seviye olarak homojen olan 180 öğrenciye 20 soruluk bir ön test uygulandı. Testin sonucunda öğrencilerin çekirdek tepkimeleri ve radyoaktiflik konusunda çok eksik oldukları tespit edildi, öğrencilerin kavramsal bilgilerinin eksikliği ve öğrenimlerindeki yanlış kavramlar belirlendi. Öğrenciler iki eş gruba ayrıldı. Birinci gruba klasik yöntemle, ikinci gruba yeniden yapılandırıcı yaklaşım ile çekirdek tepkimeleri ve radyoaktiflik konusu anlatıldı. Öğrencilere 20 soruluk bilgi testi uygulandı. Sonuçlarda ikigrup arasında ciddi başarı farkları görüldü. Ayrıca 13 öğrenci ile mülakat yapıldı. Her mülakat yarım saat kadar sürdü. Tüm mülakatlar analiz edildi. Ayrıca, öğrencilerin radyoaktif ve çekirdek tepkimeleri konusunu öğrenmeleriyle Türkiye'deki enerji sorununun nükleer santrallerle çözülebileceğini düşündükleri saptandı. Thesis) Hasan Fehmi ERÇOKLU GAZI UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY June 2001 ABSTRACT Discovering high school student's misconceptions related with radioactivity and reactions to the nucleus. The research was taken place in Maltepe Private school and in the second year high school student's classrooms. Research was done in the education year of 2000-2001. It was finished in the period of five weeks. 180 student's of whom are insterested in science branch, gathered from different high schools in Ankara and are chosen homegenically, be asked to 20 questions in a text. In the results of the test, it appears that students have a great problem of understanding radio-activity and reactions to the nucleus.IV Student's lack of information about conceptions and misconceptions in their learning were determined Students are divided into two equal groups. One of the group was tought the topics of radioactivity and reactions to the nucleus with classical methods, and the other was tought with constructivist method. After that we asked another 20 questions information test to the students. The results demanstrate the great difference in their succens. Moreover, we made interviews with 13 of them. Each interview took half an hour time. All the interviews were carefully analyzed. Furthermore it was observed that, being tought of radioactivity and reactions to the nucleus, students tought that the problem of energy in Turkey could be solved by the nuclear power.
