Abstract

ABANT İZZET BAYSAL ÜNİVERSİTESİ EĞİTİM FAKÜLTESİ MÜZİK EĞİTİMİ ANABİLİM DALINDA TÜRK HALK EZGİLERİNİN KEMANA UYARLANMASININ KEMAN EĞİTİMİ YOLUYLA MÜZİK ÖĞRETMENLİĞİ EĞİTİMİNE YANSIYABİLİRLİĞİ (Doktora Tezi) Uğur ALPAGUT GAZİ ÜNİVERSİTESİ FEN BİLİMLERİ ENSTİTÜSÜ AĞUSTOS 2001 ÖZET Bu Araştırma, Türk halk ezgilerinin temel müzik öğeleriyle kemana uyarlanmasını ve keman eğitimi yoluyla müzik öğretmenliği eğitimine yansıyabilirlik özelliklerini kapsamaktadır. Araştırma, kapsadığı konuda yeni ip uçları yakalamak, öneriler geliştirmek ve bu yolla keman ve müzik öğretmenliği eğitimine katkıda bulunmak amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada `öntest-eğitim/çalışma-sontest+dinletme` aşamalarından oluşan desene dayalı, deneysel yanı ağırlık taşıyan bir yöntem izlenmiştir. Araştırmanın öntest-sontest aşamalarında, üç gözlemci tarafından 22 öğrenciye bir gözlem formu uygulanmıştır. Gözlem formuyla Orta Anadolu bölgesinden seçilen bir türkü ezgisini öğrencilerin kemana uyarlamaları ve bununla ilgili davranış özellikleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. İki test arasında ise 15 günlük bir eğitim ve çalışma dönemi geçirilmiştir.Gözlem formunun yanı sıra, öğrencilere bilişsel, duyuşsal düzeylerini ve gelişimlerini belirleyebilmek amacıyla ayrı bir test uygulanmıştır. Bu bağlamda gözlemcilerin yaptıkları gözlemin sonuçları ve öğrencilerin teste verdikleri cevaplar arasındaki bazı ilişkiler ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırmada müzik öğretmenliği eğitimine yansıyabilirliği konusunda çıkarsamalar yapabilmek amacıyla, öğrencilerin 15 günlük eğitim ve çalışma döneminde, kendi seçtikleri ve analiz ettikleri halk ezgileri üzerinde yaptıkları çalışmaları dinletmeleri için gerekli ortam sağlanmıştır. Dinletmeye 15 öğrenci katılmıştır. Serbest bir ortamda dinleyicilerin katılımıyla gerçekleşen dinletme, kamerayla kaydedilmiştir. Video üzerinde yapılan gözlem ve incelemeyle nitel bulgular elde edilmiştir. Araştırmanın nicel bulgularının elde edilmesinde ise parametrik istatistiksel çözümlemelerin yanı sıra, örneklem grubunun 30 kişinin altında olması nedeniyle, non parametrik çözümlemeler de yapılmıştır. Verilerin analizi sonucunda, öğrencilerin hedefleri büyük ölçüde gerçekleştirdikleri ve halk ezgilerindeki temel müzik öğelerini, temel davranışlar ve temel teknikler yoluyla kemana uyarlayabildikleri ortaya çıkmıştır. Ayrıca, öğrencilerin bu çalışmalar için bilişsel, duyuşsal ve devinişsel davranış özelliklerinin gelişmeye çok uygun olduğu ve ileride halk ezgilerini kemana uyarlamayı kendilerinin başarabilecekleri konusunda cesaretli oldukları belirlenmiştir. Bu vargıların ışığında, yapılabilecek yeni çalışmalar ve araştırmalar için çeşitli önerilerde bulunulmuştur. Ill THE REFLECTIBILTY OF THE ADAPTATION OF THE TURKISH FOLK TUNES THROUGH VIOLIN TRAINING OF THE EDUCATION OF MUSIC TEACHERS IN MUSIC EDUCATION PROGRAM OF FACULTY OF EDUCATION AT ABANT İZZET BAYSAL UNIVERSITY Uğur ALPAGUT GAZİ UNIVERSITY INSTITUE OF SCIENCE AUGUST 2001 ABSTRACT This study covers the adaptation of Turkish folk tunes, with their fundamental musical elements, to violin and the characteristics of its reflectibilty on education of music teachers through violin education. The study has been conducted in order to reach at some clues about the purpose of the study, develop suggestions and by this approach, to contribute to violin education and education of music teachers. In this study, `pretest-training/practice-posttest+audition` a research design which consisted of the phases of and which was also empirically based was used as a research method. At the pretest-posttest phases of the study, 22 students were administered an observation form by 3 observes. During the observations students were asked to apply a folk tune from the Central Anatolia region to the violin. A 15 day-period was given between pre-and post test and it is also aimed at determining the behavioral characteristics of the students during this process.IV In order to determine studens cognitive and affective levels and development of the students another test was given in addition to the observation form. In this context In order to make inferences about the reflection of the study on music education the correlation between what the observers have done, observation results and the student responses was found. In the study students were provided with the opportunity for the audition of their work on the folk tunes selected and analyzed by themselves during the period of fifteen days. Fifteen students participated in the audition. The audition was held in the presence of spectators and was video recorded. After the analysis of video recordings, some qualitative findings were gathered. In gathering the quantitative findings, in iddition to parametric statistical techniques, non parametric statistical analysis is also carried out since the number of subjects was less than tihrty. After analysing the data, it has been concluded that students achieved the goals and were able to apply the fundemental musical elements of the folk tunes to the violin through basic tecnhiques and skills it has also been determined that the cognitive, affective and psychomotor behavioral characteristics of the students were quite suitable for progression and that they had confidence in that they could apply folk tunes to the violin in the future by themselves. In the light of these findings, several suggestions have been made for future studies.
