Bulanık bilişsel haritalama metodu kullanılarak Kayseri-Engir Sazlığı`nın sorunlarının ve potansiyellerinin değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Engir Marshes is an important wetlands of Kayseri. Marshes and the area of 40 ha around it, is taken under official protection in 1995. However, the negative effects of rural use, the rapid population growth and the expansion of the city to the north east caused the marshes to encounter the threat of disappearing. The aim of this thesis is to contribute to the conservation of the Engir Marshes and its environment and to its ecosystem management plan. The scientific aim is to contribute to the application of this management plan. To achieve this aim, FCM Method which figures out the points of view and the opinions of all interest groups and provides their participation has used. First, the data about the Marshes was collected, then literature search was realised, the interest groups were identified. Maps were drawn with 44 stakeholders. According to the individual maps, 4 interest groups were determined and their social maps were drawn. These interest groups are; the institutions, the local public institutions, NGOs and the local public. For analysing the individual and social maps graph theory and neural network simulations were used. As a result of the data collection, mapping and the analysis; the senses, thoughts and beliefs of the interest groups and their perception of ecosystem were determined. Thus the similarities of and the differences between the interest groups were seen. As a result, after theIV evaluation of data obtained, upper suggestions and lower suggestions were stated.Key Words : Fuzzy Cognitive Mapping, Wetland, Kayseri, Engir Marshes
