| dc.description.abstract | İstatistiksel bir modelin uyum iyiliği, gözlenen bir veri setinin istatistiksel modele uyumluluğunu test eder. Bu çalışmada Üstel dağılım için literatürde bulunan klasik ve son yıllarda geliştirilen uyum iyiliği testleri incelenmiştir. Ayrıca bu test istatistikleri deneysel I.tip hata olasılığı ve testin gücü bakımından farklı dağılım şekilleri altında Monte Carlo metoduyla karşılaştırılmış ve elde edilen sonuçlar yorumlanmıştır. Bunun yanı sıra Üstel dağılım için uyum iyiliği testlerinde çarpıklık katsayısının test gücü değerlerine etkisi de araştırılmıştır. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Goodness of fit of a statistical model tests how well it fits a set of observations. In this study some classical and new goodness of fit tests are investigated for exponential distribution. Also these tests are compared according to their Type I error rates and power of tests by using Monte Carlo method and the obtained results are interpreted.
