Abstract

Dünyada son suçlarda nicelik ve nitelikneden Türkiye'de de organize suç örgütleri her geçen gün kendinedaha fazla yer bulmaya Hemen hemen birçok sektörde organize suçörgütlerinin faaliyetleri görülmektedir. It is the fact that the last modifications in the world have caused to increase ofthe crimes in terms of quantitiy and quality. Organized crime groups, themselves, haveincreasingly taken place in Turkey as well. Organized crime activities have been almostseen in each sectors. In the last years the snatch crime has been added to these.Upon to these developments, effective fighting techniques have been searchedand special fighting techniques have been largely used. One of the techniques is witnessprotection, which is going to be enacted in the next months in Turkey. However, in spiteof the organizational and judicial preparations, the fact that there have not beensufficient witnesses have showed that the sources of the problem have been arisen fromthe systematical and sociological reasons.In this study, it has been found out that the reasons of the reluctance fortestimony have been arisen from the insecure feeling which constitutes together withbecoming more spread of the corruption culture.Key Words : Lack of Confidence, Organized Crime, Special InvestigatingTechniques, Witness, Witness Protection
