dc.description.abstractiiÖZET0900 ZIRAAT KIRAZ ÇESIDINE UYGUN TOZLAYICILARIN VE POLENPERFORMANSLARININ BELIRLENMESIBu çalisma, 2004 ve 2005 yillarinda Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Ziraat FakültesiBahçe Bitkileri Bölümü'nde yürütülmüstür.Çalismanin amaci, Türkiye için büyük bir ekonomik öneme sahip olan 0900 Ziraatkiraz çesidine uygun dölleyici çesitlerin tespiti kapsaminda, çiçek tozlarinin in vitrokosullarda, kalite (canlilik ve çimlenme yetenegi) ve üretim miktarininbelirlenmesidir. Denemede Bigarreu Gaucher, Bing, Noble, Starks Gold, Stella, Van,Vista ve 0900 Ziraat kiraz çesitleri kullanilmistir. Çiçek tozu canlilik oranlari,kullanilan boyalara göre degisiklik gösterse de en yüksek oranlar IKI testinden, endüsük ise FDA testinden elde edilmistir. In vitro çimlendirme denemelerinde kontrolortami olarak %0.5 agar+%15 sakkaroz+5ppm borik asit kullanilmistir. 48 saatsonunda en yüksek çimlenme orani tespit edilmistir. 50 ppm Thioure ve 5 ppmBA'in çim borusu gelisini inhibe ettikleri, 50 ppm KNO3 , 10 ppm GA3 , 10 ppmIBA'nin ise çiçek tozu çimlenmesi ve çim borusu uzunlugunu tesvik ettikleribelirlenmistir. Arazi kosullarinda yapilan denemelerde en yüksek meyve tutumu0900 x Starks Gold kombinasyonundan elde edilmistir.ANAHTAR KELIMELER: Kiraz, çiçek tozu, karsilikli uyusmazlik, döllenmebiyolojisi.
dc.description.abstractiiiABSTRACTDETERMINATION OF SUITABLE POLLINIZERS AND POLLENPERFORMANCES FOR 0900 ZIRAAT CHERRY CULTIVARThe study was conducted at Horticultural Sciences Department, Faculty ofAgriculture, Suleyman Demirel University in 2004 and 2005.The objectives of the study were to determine the suitable cultivar to be used aspollinators for `0900 Ziraat?, a sweet cherry cultivar possessing a great economicpotential for Turkey, and to asses the quality (viability and germination abilities) andyield of pollens under in vitro conditions. Bigarreu Gaucher, Bing, Noble, StarksGold, Stella, Van, Vista and 0900 Ziraat sweet cherry cultivars were used in theexperiment. Despite showing variations depend upon pollen sizes, the highest ratiosof pollen viability were obtained from IKI test, but the lowest ratios of viability wereobserved from FDA test. In vitro germination experiments, 0.5 % agar+ 15 %sucrose+ 5 ppm boric acid was used as germination medium. The highestgermination ratio was determined after 48 hours. Moreover it was also determinedthat 50 ppm Thioure and 5 ppm BA inhibited the development of pollen germinationtube, but 50 ppm KNO3 , 10 ppm GA3 , 10 ppm IBA enhanced the germination ofpollens and the length of pollen germination tube. In the experiments performedunder field conditions, the highest fruiting was obtained from the combination of0900 Ziraat X Starks Gold combination.KEY WORDS: Sweet cherry, pollen, cross incompatibility, fertilization biologyen_US
