İnsan ve çevre ilişkileri ünitesinin çoklu yazma etkinlikleri kullanılarak öğretilmesinin değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırma; `İnsan ve Çevre İlişkileri` ünitesinin çoklu yazma etkinlikleri kullanılarak öğretilmesinin akademik başarıya, kavram öğrenmeye, eleştirel düşünme becerilerine ve öğrencilerin fen öğretimi ile öğrenimine yönelik tutumlarına etkisini ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır.Araştırma 2015-2016 eğitim öğretim yılında Niğde ili Çamardı ilçesindeki bir ortaokulunda gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini yedinci sınıfta öğrenim gören 46 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. `İnsan ve Çevre İlişkileri` ünitesi deney grubu öğrencilerine çoklu yazma etkinlikleri ile işlenirken, kontrol grubu öğrencilerine ise mevcut öğretim yöntemine uygun olarak işlenmiştir. Araştırma, deneysel bir çalışma olup, ön test ve son test kontrol gruplu deneysel desen kullanılmıştır.Akademik başarı, kavram, fen bilgisi dersi tutum ölçeği ile eleştirel düşünme ölçeği hem ön ve son test olarak uygulanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde aritmetik ortalama ve bağımsız grup t test istatistik tekniği kullanılmıştır.Sonuçta; `İnsan ve Çevre İlişkileri` ünitesinin çoklu yazma etkinlikleri kullanılarak öğretilmesinin akademik başarıya ve kavram öğrenmeye olumlu etkisi varken fen öğretimi ile öğrenimine yönelik tutuma ve de eleştirel düşünme becerilerine bir etkisi olmamıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Çoklu yazma etkinlikleri, İnsan ve Çevre İlişkileri ünitesi, Fen öğretimi.

This study aims to present the effect of teaching the unit of `Human and Environmental Relationships` using the method of multiple writing activities on academic achievement, conceptual learning, critical thinking skills and students' attitude towards to science learning-teaching.The study was done in a secondary school in Çamardı province, in the city of Niğde in the 2015-2016 education year. The sample of the study is 46 seventh grade students. Experimental group have been taught with multiple writing methods while the control group have been taught with present teaching method when the unit is `Human and Environmental Relationships`. The study is an experimental type having a research design with pre-test and post-test control groups.Academic achievement, concept, science attitude scale and critical thinking scale were applied both pre and post test. In the analyzing of data process, arithmetic average and independent group t test were used.At the end; teaching the unit of `Human and Environmental Relationships` with multiple writing activities has a positive effect on academic achievement and conceptual learning but there is no affect on attitude towards to science learning-teaching and critical thinking skills.Key words: Multiple writing activities, Human and Environmental Relationships unit, Teaching science.
