Abstract

Sayfa Bu tezin amacx, talk cevherinin flotasyon yoluyla zenginleştirilme- sini arastxrmaktxr. Optik mikroskobu, Z-xşxnlarx kxrxnxm analizleri cevherin talk, dolomit, serpantin, hecatit minerallerini içerdiğini göstermiştir. Cevherin kimyasal kompcsizyonu ise şöyledir t <fo 53.10 Si02> İ= 28.30 MgO, fo 3.08 CaC ve <fo 3.00 Fe20. Flotasyon işleminde direkt flotasyon yöntemi uygulanmxs olup, talk köpekten alxnxrken, dolomit ve demir mineralleri `bastxrxlmxstxr. Flotasyon deneylerinde tane boyutunun, PH'xn, toplayxcx çeşidi ve miktarxnxn, kosullanaxnaa ve flotasyon zamanxnxn konsantre tenor ve randxmanxna etkileri ir-celenmiştir. En iyi flotasyon sr^uclarxna, PH 6.7 'de ve 400 gr/ton Accoal-13 ilavesiyle ulaş xlmxs tır.Elde edilen konsantre, $ 60.00 SiO, £ 31-25 MgO, <fa 0.35 CaO, İo 1.4 Fe90,» İ» 4*33 H O içermektedir. $ 82. 07 randımanla üretilen konsantrenin beyazlık oranı % 52.70'dir. Bu konsantre, seramik, las tik, elektrik yalıtımı ve haşarat ilacı endüstrilerinde istenen talk şartnamesine uymaktır. Prof. Dr. Gülhan ÖZBAYOGLU February I988, 37 Pages The purpose of this research was to investigate the recovery of talc by flotation. Optical and X-ray diffraction analysis of the representative sample showed that the major constituents of ore were talc, dolomite, serpentine and hematite. Chemical analysis of the sample was as follows : 53.10 fo SiO, 3.08 £ CaO, 28.30 fo MgO and 3.00 % Fe 0. Direct flotation was applied during the investigation so that talc was obtained from the froth, dolomite and iron minerals being depressed. During flotation tests, the effect of particle size, pH, collector type and consumption, conditioning and flotation time on the quality and quantity of concentrate were examined XllThe `best results in flotation were achieved at pH 6.7 hy adding 400 g/ton Aceoal-13 as collector and a ooncentrate was obtained containing 60.00 $ SiO, 31.25 # MgO, 0.35 % CaO, 1.4 % Fe 0 and 4.33 fo HO with 82.07 <fi recovery (SiO +MgO) The whiteness of concentrate was 52.70 % The concentrate met the specifications required for the use of talc in ceramic, rubber, roofing industries, in electrical insulators and insecticides.
