Öte yandan geniş bir uygulama repertuarının varlığına karşın Orta Zamanlara ve sonrasına ait yapılarınkinden farklılaşan iyi tanımlanmış bir terminoloji de henüz oluşturulamamış durumda. Çalışma kapsamında arkeolojik koruma konusunda bir yoruma varabilmek amacıyla Ostia Antica'daki koruma müdahaleleri kronolojik, teorik ve teknik yönden araştı rıldı. Analize katkıda bulunmak üzere bir dil geliştiril meye çalışıldı. Değerlendirme güncel koruma kabulleriçerçevesinde ve oluştukları koşullar göz önüne alınarak yapıldı. Ancak bu çalışma geniş konunun yalnız bir yönünü, o da Ostia Antica'daki olgunun çizdiği çerçeve içinde incelemektedir. Necva AKÇURA September 1988,316* pages This is the inquiry of the intervention trial in an archaeological site. The starting point is the current paradoxical attitudes in intervening to such sites. On the other hand although a vast application repertoire exists, not a well defined terminology has yet been settled different than of the Medieval or later monuments. With the aim of arriving at a commentary on archaeological conservation, a chronological, theoretical and technical investigation of interventions (for conservation) at Ostia Antica has been made. A language has been tried to be developed in order to serve to the 111analysis. The evaluation of them has been made in the frame of current conservation assents with references to their occurance circumstances. Though, this work inquires only one aspect of the immense subject and is limited within the frame of the Ostian trial.
