Abstract
The theoretical framework and finite difference scheme used for the numerical solution of these models are discussed. Based on the one-line model, a computer programs is prepared. Several applications of these models for different coastal structures are presented. in these applications, factors that affect the models, as well as the factors which are important in the design of these structures are discussed. Also, the results obtained from these mathematical models are compared with available results of laboratory experiments as a case study. During thiscase study, the importance of the simulationof breakwater bypassing phenomenon in the modelwas clarified. Therefore, this phenomenon is modeled inthe developed one-line model.
