Adana ili ve çevresi Polistes dominulus (Christ, 1791) ve Polistes nimpha (Christ, 1791) (Vespidae: Polistinae) türlerinin yuva özelliklerinin belirlenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Adana ilinden toplanan Polistes dominulus (Christ, 1791) ve Polistes nimpha (Christ, 1791) türlerine ait yuvalar, yuva materyali bakımından incelenerek karşılaştırılmıştır. İki türün yuvalarının makroskobik incelemesi sonucunda mimari bakımdan benzer oldukları görülmüştür. Elektron mikroskobu incelemesinde lif kalınlığı ve ağız salgısı miktarı bakımından farklı oldukları gözlenmiştir. Su tutma kapasitesi ve yağ miktarı bakımından da farklılıklar tespit edilmiştir. Atomik absorbsiyon incelemesi sonucunda yuvalarda yoğun bakır birikimi belirlenmiştir. Elementel analizleri sonucunda C, O, N major elementlerken, Si, Ca, Mg, Cu, Al, Fe, Cl ve K minor elementler olarak tespit edilmiştir.

In this study, the nests of Polistes dominulus (Christ, 1791) and Polistes nimpha ( Christ,1791) collected from Adana province were compared for nest material. As a result of the macroscopic examination of the two species, it is seen that they are similar in terms of architecture. Elektron microscopic examination revealed that they differed in terms of fiber thickness and amount of oral secretion. Differences in water holding capacity and amount of oil have been determined. Atomic Arbsorbion Examination results in intensive copper accumulation in the nests. As a result of elemental analysis, C, O, N major elements and Si, Ca, Mg, Cu, Al, Fe, Cl and K minor elements were determined.
