Antik yunan yazarlarında kadın imgesi

Abstract

Tarih boyunca kadın, dünya üzerinde oynadığı çeşitli rollerle önemli birvarlık olmuştur. Bu figüre dair zihinlerdeki algı yer ve zaman içerisinde değişimeuğramıştır. Bu değişim, çeşitli kültür ve medeniyetlere göre de farklılık göstermiştir.Bu bağlamda yazım hayatında önemli bir yere sahip olan Hellen Çağı'nda çeşitlitürlerden eserlerin verilmeye başlandığı görülmektedir. Bu Çağ'daki yazılı eserlerdenkadın konusunu ve `kadın imgesi`ni ele alma incelemeye değer bir husustur. Hellendünyasındaki kadın ve kadın imgesi ile ilgili birkaç eser dışında, yazılmış herhangibir çalışma yoktur. Ayrıca çoğu zaman `kadın imgesi` ya satır aralarında ya daherhangi bir konunun parçası olarak ele alınmıştır. Nitekim tarih yazımına katkısağlamış, Herodotos, Thukydides gibi yazarların yanında, komedya ve tragedyatürlerinde önemli tiyatro metinleri üreten Aiskhylos, Sophokles, Euripides,Aristophanes, Menandros gibi yazarların eserleri de mevcuttur. Hellen dünyasındakadın konularını çeşitli vesilelerle ele alan yazar ve tür çeşitliliği bunlarla sınırlıdeğildir.Kendisinden sonra gelen birçok yazarı, felsefeciyi ve sosyal bilimciyietkilemiş olan bu yazarların öncesinde de elbette yazılı eserler var olmuş olabilir.Ancak bunlar genelde ya tabletler üzerine yazılmıştır ve çoğunlukla yazarları bellideğildir ya da büyük bir çoğunluğu günümüze ulaşmamış olmalıdır. Yazın tarihiaçısından çok önemli bir yerde konumlanan Hellen Çağı'nın yazarlarının farklıkonularda olduğu gibi, `kadın imgesi` hakkındaki düşünceleri de önemlidir. HellenÇağı'nda kadınların sosyal, hukuki ve ekonomik durumları, hayatta ne konumdaoldukları günümüzde peyder pey de olsa çeşitli araştırmalarla ortaya konulmuştur.Bu araştırmada ise daha çok toplumu yönlendiren, hatta düşünce olarak toplumunönünde olduğu varsayılan `yazarların zihinlerindeki kadın imgesi`ni eserlerine nasılyansıttıkları konusu esas alınmıştır. Yazarların kadınları toplumda nasıl gördüğü,kadınlara olan bakış açısı, günümüzün felsefe, sosyoloji ve psikoloji gibi çeşitlisosyal çalışmaları da göz önünde bulundurularak açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır.Bu çalışmada, Hellen yazarlarının bazen gerçekçi bazen ütopya, bazenidealist bakış açılarıyla kendi yazım dünyalarında oluşturdukları `kadın imgesi` elealınmaya çalışılarak, bu görüşlerin kendi dönemlerinde nasıl karşılandığı ve tarihiyazım geleneği ile günümüz yazım dünyasını nasıl etkilediği üzerinde durulacaktır.

Throughout history, women have always been an important being with thevarious roles they play on the earth, and the perception of the mind of this figure haschanged in time and place. This change was also different according to variouscultures and civilizations. In this respect, it is worth examining in this sense the waythat the Greek age, which has an important place in writing life, handles the femalesubject and the `female image` of the written works in a period when the works areintensively started to be given from various genres. In the context of the position ofthe woman in the Greek world, there are no works written apart, except for a fewexcerpts directly related to the women and `woman image`. Among these works areauthors such as Aescuylus, Sophocles, Euripides, Aristophanes, Menandros whocontributed to the writing of history and produced important theater texts in comedyand tragedy types besides authors such as Herodotos and Thukydides. In the Greekworld there are not many writers and species diversity that deal with women's issuesin various ways.İndeed written works may exist before the writers who inspired their writer,philosopher and social scientist successors, too. However, they were usually writtenon tablets and mostly their writers are not known or majority of them did not surviveto the present day. It is also important to think about the `female image` as thewriters of the Greek age, located in a very important place in terms of literaryhistory, are in different topics. In the Hellenic era, women's social, legal andeconomic situations and their position in life are now being explored in variousresearches. This research is based on based on the idea of reflecting the`womenimage in the minds of entellectuals`, which is thought to be more in line with thesociety and even in the society as an idea. This study deals with the idea that how theauthors view women, considering various social studies such as modern philosophy,sociology and psychology.This study will focuses on how the Greek writers who dealt with the `femaleimage` they created in their own writing worlds in terms of utopia, sometimesidealistic viewpoints, how these views are met during their own times and how thehistoriographical tradition affects the present-day writing world.
