Mikro ifadeler tanıma yeteneğinin mikro ifadeler eğitimi ile geliştirilebilirliği

Abstract

Mikro ifadeler, saniyenin yarısı ya da daha kısa sürede duygulara bağlı olarak yüksek hızlı kas hareketlerin oluşturduğu yüz ifadeleridir. Türkiye'de bugüne kadar yapılan hiçbir çalışma, mikro ifadeleri tanıma yeteneğinin mikro ifadeler eğitimi ile geliştirilebileceğini göstermemiştir. Bu çalışmada mikro ifade tanıma yeteneğinin, mikro ifadeler eğitimi ile geliştirilebileceğine ilişkin sonuçlar sunulmaktadır. Yapılan çalışmada ikinci sınıf üniversite öğrencileri arasından seçilen 50 kişilik örneklem grup için, mikro ifadeler tanıma yeteneğinin eğitimle geliştirilebilirliği konusunu araştırılmıştır. Tamamen randomize(rastgele) olarak; eğitim grubu ve kontrol grubu olarak ayrılan iki gruba, mikro ifadeler eğitimi için geliştirilmiş sistem kullanarak ön test ve son test uygulaması yapılmıştır. Eğitim grubu olarak atanan, randomize(rastgele) olarak seçilmiş gruba 4 saatlik mikro ifadeler eğitim ve uygulaması yapılmış, kontrol grubu olarak atanan randomize seçilmiş gruba ise herhangi bir eğitim çalışması yapılmamıştır. Çalışmanın bulguları arasında, iki grupta yapılan T-Test karşılaştırmasında anlamlılık seviyesi p < 0.001 ve Ki -Kare değerlendirmesinde ise Fisher's Exact Test, beklenen değerden 2,70 ' den çok daha küçük olarak 0,106 değerindedir. Sonuçların farklılığı istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bulunmuştur. Diğer yandan eğitim grubu içindeki puan dağılım oranları da incelenmiştir. Bu oranlar, %40 başarı kesme noktasına göre, 4 saatlik mikro ifadeler eğitimi görmüş eğitimin grubunun, kontrol gruba kıyasla başarı oranlarının daha iyi seviyede olduğu görülmüştür. Bu sonuçlar, mikro ifadelerin okuma yeteneğinin mikro ifadeler eğitimi ile geliştirebileceğini göstermektedir. Bu çalışma adli bilimler açısından- özellikle yüksek riskli senaryolarda- oldukça önemli olan davranış analiz yeteneklerinin geliştirilebileceğini göstermesi açısından önemlidir. Bununla beraber, ilerde yapılabilecek mikro ifadeler ve yalan/aldatma konusu üzerine çalışmalara temel sağlayacaktır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Adli Bilimler, Mikro İfadeler, Eğitim, Davranış Analiz, FACS (Yüz Hareket Kodlama Sistemi)

Micro-expressions are facial expressions of high-speed muscle movements caused by emotions in half a second or in a short period of time. To date, in Turkey there is no study that shows the ability to recognize micro-expressions can be trained. In this study, it presents the results of the relationship between micro expression recognition and training. In this study, was investigated the ability of micro expression expressions to be improved with training for a sample group of 50 students. Pre-test and post-test were applied to the two groups, which were randomly divided into two groups as the training group and the control group.Four hours of micro-expression training and application were made to the randomized selected group assigned to the training group and no training study was performed to the randomized selected group assigned to the control group.According to the findings of the study, the significance level in the T-Test comparison between the two groups was p < 0.001 and in the Ki-Square evaluation the value of the Fisher's Exact Test was 0.106, much smaller than the expected value 2,70. The difference of results was statistically significant. On the other hand, the distribution of points within the training group was also examined. These rates were found to be better than the training group compared to the control group, which received 4-hour micro-expressions training according to the cut-off point of 40% success. These results showed that the ability to read micro-expressions can be trained. This study is important for the development of behavior analysis skills which are very important for forensic sciences especially in high risk scenarios. And also it will provide the basis for future studies about micro exprssions on the detection of lies / deception.Keywords: Forensic Science, Micro Expressions, Training, Behavior Analysis, FAC
