Bahri`nin Letaifnamesi(inceleme-tenkitli metin- sözlük)

Abstract

Sözlüklerde `insanları güldüren, neşelendiren hoş ve güzel söz, özellikle şaka, espri` olarak ifade edilen letaifnamelerin yapılan tanımlamalarında genel olarak hikmet yönü ön plana çıkarılmış, `ince anlam` vasfı vurgulanmıştır. Letaif mecmuaları ise bu türden hikayelerin toplandığı kitaplara verilen genel isimdir. Letaifnameler, oldukça zengin muhtevasıyla sadece klasik edebiyatın pek çok tür ve şekline örneklik oluşturmamakta aynı zamanda halk edebiyatı, Türk dili, halk bilimi, sosyoloji, tarih gibi alanlarda çalışanlar için kaynaklık oluşturmaktadır.Bu çalışmamızın başlıca amacı Bahrî'nin Letaifnamesi'nin, elimizde bulunan Milli Kütüphane, Topkapı Sarayı, İstanbul Üniversitesi I ve İstanbul Üniversitesi II yazmalarını karşılaştırarak edisyon kritiğini yapmak ve eseri müstensihlerin yapmış olduğu muhtemel hatalardan arındırmaktır. Çalışmamızın giriş olarak adlandırdığımız birinci bölümünde, klasik edebiyatımızda mizah ve letaif konusu irdelenmiş, ikinci bölüm olan inceleme kısmında Bahri'nin Letaifnamesi çok yönlü olarak ele alınmıştır. Çalışmamızın asıl kısmını oluşturan üçüncü bölümde ise eser, dönemin dil özelliklerine sadık kalınarak, çeviriyazı ve tenkitli metin kuralları çerçevesinde, Latin harflerine çevrilmiş ve nüshalar arasındaki farklılıklar, dipnotlarla belirtilmiştir. İlgililerin çalışmamızdan istifadesini kolaylaştırmak amacı ile tezimizin sonunda eserde geçen kelimelerin çoğunluğunu içeren bir sözlüğe yer verilmiştir. Sonuç olarak bu çalışmamızla Osmanlı dönemi eserlerinden biri gün ışığına çıkarılmış, incelenmiş, eserin en kapsamlı ve orijinal metni ortaya konulmaya çalışılmış ve ortaya çıkan metinle sosyal bilimlerin çeşitli alanlarında çalışan araştırmacılara kaynak oluşturulmuştur.

In the definitions of Letaifnames, which are expressed in dictionaries as pleasant and beautiful words that make people laugh and cheer especially jokes and humour, the aspect of wisdom is highlighted in general and the `subtle meaning 'is emphasized. Letaif mecmuas are the general names given to books where such stories are collected. Letaifnames, quite rich with its content, are not only creating examples of many genres and forms of Classical Literature, but also is a resource for both those who work within the fields such as folk literature, Turkish language and those who work the outside the field such as folklore, sociology, history.The main purpose of this study is to make the critical edition of Bahrî's LetÀifnÀme by comparing the existing manuscripts of the National Library, Topkapı Palace, Istanbul University I and Istanbul University II and to purify the work from possible mistakes made by scribal or hand writer. In the first part of our study, which we call introduction, the subject of humour and letaif in our Classical Literature is examined and the second part in the review section, Bahrî's LetÀifnÀme is discussed in many ways. In the third part, which constitutes the main part of our study, the work has been translated into Latin letters within the framework of transcription and edition critical text rules while remaining faithful to the language characteristics of the period and the differences between the copies are indicated by footnotes. At the end of our thesis, a dictionary containing the majority of the words in the work has been added in order to facilitate to benefit from the study for those concerned.As a result, one of the works of the Ottoman period is brought to light with our study, the most comprehensive and original text of the work has been tried to be revealed and with the resulting text resources have been created for researchers working in various fields of social sciences.
