Gençlerin siyasallaşması ve siyasal katılımında kimlik ve din etkisi: Bingöl örneği

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, siyasal katılımda kimlik ve din etkisini analiz etmektir. Siyasal katılım, genel olarak sosyolojik ve psikolojik etkilere bağlı olarak gerçekleşmektedir. Fakat bu çalışma sadece kimlik ve din değişkenleriyle sınırlı tutulmamıştır. Siyasal katılımı etkileyen birçok değişken bulunmaktadır. Aile, kitle iletişim araçları, akran grupları, eğitim, meslek bilgisi, yaş, toplumsal statü vb. değişkenlerin etkisi de araştırma sürecinde incelenmiştir. Çalışmada gençlerin; din, dini yaşantı, siyasi tercih ve kimlik aidiyeti hakkındaki görüşleri ele alınmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında, gençlerin siyasi yatkınlıkları, siyaseti algılama biçimleri ve siyasal katılım pratiklerine yönelik bir tespit yapılmaya çalışılmıştır.Bu çalışmada, nitel araştırma yöntemi benimsenmiştir. Nitel veri toplama tekniklerinden görüşme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemi, çalışmanın amacına uygun 18-30 yaş aralığında 35 genç katılımcıdan oluşmaktadır. Araştırma, Bingöl ili sınırları içerisinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada örnekleme tekniği olarak amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden ölçüt örnekleme türü tercih edilmiştir. Çalışma üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Çalışmanın kavramsal ve kuramsal çerçevesi olan birinci bölümde; kimlik, din, gençlik, siyaset ve siyasal katılım kavramlarına ilişkin teorik bilgilere yer verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde, çalışmanın konusu, amacı ve önemi belirtilmiş, alan araştırması ile ilgili gerekli bilgiler açıklanmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde, saha çalışmasından elde edilen verilerin analizleri ve değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır. Sonuç ve değerlendirme bölümüyle çalışma tamamlanmıştır.

The aim of this study is to analyze the effect of identity and religion in political participation. By and large political participation takes place depending on sociological and psychological effects. However, this study is not restricted only identity and religion variables. There are lots of variables that affect political participation. The effects of variables that are family, mass communication, peer groups, education, professional knowledge, age, social status, etc has been also examined during the research process. In the study, young people's views on religion, religious life, political choice, identity belonging have been discussed. In the scope of the research, a determination aimed at the political tendencies of young people, their perception of politics and their political participation practices have been made.In this study, the method of qualitative research has been adopted. Interview technique, which is one of the qualitative data collection techniques, has been used. The sample of the research consists of 35 young participants between the ages of 18 and 30 that are suitable for the purpose of the study. The research has been carried out within the borders of Bingöl province. In the research, criterion sampling type, which is one of the purposeful sampling methods, has been chosen as the sampling technique.The study consists of three parts. In the first part, which is the conceptual and theoretical framework of the study, theoretical information on the concepts of identity, religion, youth, politics, and political participation has been discussed. In the second part, the subject, purpose and importance of the study has been stated, and essential information on the field research has been explained. In the third part, the analysis and evaluation of the date obtained from the field study has been discussed. The study has been completed with the conclusion and evaluation sections.
