BİST metal ana endeksinde yer alan işletmelerin özsermaye kârlılığına etki eden çalışma sermayesi faktörleri

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Borsa İstanbul Metal Ana Endeksi' nde faaliyet gösteren işletmelerin öz sermaye kârlılığına etki eden çalışma sermayesi faktörlerinin tespit edilmesidir. Dolayısıyla, 2008-2018 dönemini kapsayan bir veri seti oluşturulmuş ve söz konusu dönemde BİST Metal Ana Endeksinde işlem gören işletmelerin öz sermaye kârlılıklarını etkileyebilecek çeşitli faktörler Eviews 9.0 paket programı yardımıyla panel veri yöntemi ile analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre BİST Metal Ana Endeksinde işlem gören işletmelerin öz sermaye kârlılıkları üzerinde aktif devir hızı oranı ile toplam borç/özsermaye oranlarının pozitif, cari oran ve satış değişim oranı değişkenlerinin ise negatif yönlü ve anlamlı bir etkileri bulunmaktadır.

The aim of this study is to determine the working capital factors that affect the return on equity of the firms listed in the Borsa Istanbul Basic Metal Index. Therefore, a data set covering the period of 2008-2018 was formed and various factors, which might affect the return on equity of the firms listed in the BIST Basic Metal Index, were analyzed by panel data method by Eviews 9.0 software program.The results of the analysis have shown that the return on equity of the firms listed in BIST Basic Metal Index are positively affected by the variables namely; asset turnover ratio and total debts to total equity ratio, in contradiction to current ratio and sales growth factor which represents the growth oppurtunities.
