Epistemolojik ve ontolojik sınırları aşmak: Wittgenstein

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Wittgenstein felsefesi bağlamında yeni bir metodun imkânı ele alınmaktadır. Wittgenstein'ın felsefesinin genelinden hareket eden çalışma filozofun dönemlerinin konumunu göstermeye çalışmaktadır. Çalışmanın temel problemi bu dönemler arasındaki benzerliklerden hareketle Wittgenstein felsefesini yeni bir bağlamda incelemenin imkân dâhilinde olup olmadığıdır. Çalışma bunu yaparken aynı zamanda Wittgenstein felsefesinin epistemolojik ve ontolojik meseleler karşısında takındığı tavrı ve Wittgensteincı bir metodun bu meselelere dair sınırları nasıl aştığını/aşabileceğini göstermeyi hedeflemektedir.Bu amaçla çalışmanın birinci bölümünde Wittgenstein'ın hayatı ve felsefesinin tarihsel arka planı incelenmiştir. Bu bağlamda Wittgenstein'ı etkileyen fikirlerin gelişimi gösterilmeye çalışılmıştır.İkinci bölüm, Wittgenstein'ın iki dönemini detaylıca ele alacaktır. Her iki dönem genel olarak filozofun temel eserleri olan Tractatus Logico Philosophicus ve Felsefi Soruşturmalar bağlamında incelenmiştir.Üçüncü bölümde Wittgenstein'ın iki dönemindeki felsefi yaklaşım karşılaştırılmıştır. Her iki dönemin benzerlikleri ve neden bir bütün olarak görülmesi gerektiğine dair savlar bu bölümde yer alacaktır. Daha sonrasında sınır problemi bağlamında transantandallik sorunu incelenmiştir. Dördüncü bölüm de ise Wittgenstein felsefesinde felsefe yapmaya dair problem ele alınmış ve yeni bir bakışın imkânı soruşturulmuştur. Bu yüzden Wittgensteincı bir metot oluşturulmaya çalışılmıştır.Sonuç kısmında ise bu çalışmanın temel iddialarının ne türden bir yenilik taşıdığı ve Wittgenstein felsefesinin yeniden incelenmesinin sonuçları üzerinde durulmuştur.

This study aims to discuss the possibility of a new method within the context of Wittgenstein philosophy. The study, which is based on the general Philosophy of Wittgenstein, tries to indicate the positions Wittgenstein's two periods. The main problem of this study is whether it is possible to examine his philosophy in a new context from the similarities between these two periods. At the same time, the study aims to introduce the Wittgenstein philosophy's attitude toward the epistemological and ontological affairs and how a Wittgensteinian method overcomes the limits of these affairs.In the first part of this study, Wittgenstein's life and the historical background of his philosophy will be introduced. In this context, the development of ideas that affect Wittgenstein will be tried to be indicated.The second part of this study will deal with Wittgenstein's two periods in detail. His two periods will be discussed within the context of the philosopher's main works, Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus and Philosophical Investigations.In the third part, the philosophical approaches in Wittgenstein's two periods will be compared. The similarities between his two periods and the reasons why both periods should be seen as a whole will be introduced in this section. And then, the problem of transcendentality will be discussed within the context of the problem of demarcation.In the fourth part, the problem of philosophizing in the Wittgensteinian philosophy will be discussed and the possibility of a new viewpoint will be inquired. Consequently, a Wittgensteinian method will be tried to be established.In the conclusion, we will focus on novelty of this study's basic arguments and the consequences of the reconsidering of the Wittgenstein philosophy.
