Abstract

89 ÖZET `19. yüzyıl Gitar Bestecileri` konulu araştırma Türkiye'de hızla yayılmakta olan klasik gitarın, 19. yüz yılda besteciler ve yorumcular açısından geçirdiği gelişmeler ve aşamaların incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. 19. yüzyıl öncesi gelişmeler, ve 19. yüzyılda gitarın genel durumu ele alınmış, özellikle 19.. yüzyılda besteci ve yorumcuların gitara -ve gitar literatürüne olan katkıları imkânlar nispetinde tek tek ele alınarak incelenmiştir. Araştırmada; bu dönemde gitarın gerek biçim olarak gerekse teknik açıdan ve repertuarının genişlemesi açısından önemli aşamalar kaydettiği sonucuna varılmıştır.

90 SUMMARY The thesis, titled `19th Century Composers`, has been written with the purpose of researching the developments and the stages that the classical guitar - an instrument that is getting wide-spread in Turkey today - has gone through from the point of view of the 19th century composers and players. In addition to the developments before the 19th century and the general concept of the `classical guitar`, the contributions of the players and of the composers to the guitar and its literature have been scrutinized one by one. As a result of the above-mentioned research, the conclusion has been drawn that during the 19th century, the classical guitar has gone through a significant development, from the point of view of its structure, technique, and the extent of its. repertoire.
